Vomiting after new dose?

Last week I upped my dose to 1.8 and a few hours later became violently ill for about 24 hours. My niece and brother had had the stomach flu a few days prior so I assumed that was it. Tonight I upped my dose to 2.4 and a few hours later the same thing. Is this normal?
