    Had the morning off. My cross training coach is away on holiday and I had the week off all cross training, it feels like I'm on holiday myself!! It won't last for much longer though.

    Yes x 3 - even indulged in some lovely Italian white wine, within calorie budget. Still sore from yesterday so just took a good brisk walk and will attack the new strength routine tomorrow.

    Great day today! The sun was out for much of the day and temps mild. Went for a 1 hour 20 minute walk on the Erie Canal Path and another shorter 20 minute walk in a nearby village....so

    @RangerRickL I did find the children's book Misty of Chincoteague by Marguerite Henry at a local library, today. I'm sure I'll have fun reading it, even if it is intended for a much "younger" set! Perhaps I will be more inspired to visit Assateague Island. It's actually nice to revisit earlier reads to gain perspective.

    Given our upcoming trip to London, I just recently read Winnie the Pooh and am now reading The Natural World of Winnie-The-Pooh Exploring the Real Landscapes of the Hundred Acre Wood by Kathryn Aalto. A.A. Milne's Cotchford Farm which inspired his Pooh stories is situated in the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Sussex, south of London. We will be in London for a few days pre-cruise...but now wish we had time to visit Cotchford Farm, The Hundred Acre Wood and Ashdown Forest. There are no doubt lots of hiking trails in the area to satisfy the exercise component of UAC!

    Uggh. Pass day 3. Fell asleep before I posted last night. Then, as I am making breakfast this morning I realized that I bought the regular instead of low fat version of my waffles which technically put me a whole 32 calories over for the day.
