Okay, so I’m walking in the desert and since this spring has been a drought, there are not an abundance of cactus flowers. I decided to take a picture of this one. After several angles, I decided that the best view was at ant height. I laid down on the ground and took several shots. I like what I see but I got off the ground a bit bloody. It’s mighty thorny and spiny down there on the ground.3 -

Late start to the day (after late finish after flight from Perth).
Mostly getting quads ready to fly then helping move the local club to a new spot. Managed to get walk in.
Daughter has friends over for the next couple of days.

Late walk with some flying in between.
Spent most of the day trying to solve hardware issues with the video transmitter on my main race quad.
Sorry no post on the 7th. Late night picking up daughter (and friend) from skating. Home after midnight and tired.4 -

Fantastic photo, Rick. You inspire us all to be OUTDOORS! Hope your back is feeling better if you are down there on the ground. Not always easy getting up and down.

Exercize oh well...30m specific strength, 30m run warm up and a duathlon sprint race (5k run/20k bike/2.5k run). And a 30m walk in town too afterwards for sightseeings

Calories: a bad day for eating! There was very little hunger eating. There was stress, boredom, impulse, pleasing others, sad, confusing thirst for hunger, and mindless eating. Lots of deadlines coming up, lots of change at home, lots of worries. Tomorrow is a new day and a Monday no less. A day yo yo dieters love to get back on track. I don't want to yo yo. That was my feeling sorry for myself stream of consciousness.5 -

@am_change I love your list of all the kinds of eating. Those days are annoying but a good rant is helpful -- back in the saddle tomorrow.

April 7 & 8 Yes to exercise and tracking, but slightly over on calories, so Pass days.
I am trying a new regime for a while to see if it suits me, so am working towards keeping within a weekly calorie goal. This will allow me a bit of flexibility for lunch out, drinks with friends etc., while keeping in overall balance. Obviously this approach is not consistent with being in the Winner's Circle ( and I'm out this month anyway), but will keep checking in if that's OK. I will review in a month and see how this is working.

Yes, 2:39 minute hike!! Just under 6 miles with an elevation of 759. I’m delighted!
