Hey! Check out our new cover pic up there! I like change! :)

My schedule is all switched up this morning. Usually Thursdays are kinda quiet, and then I do my WW meeting at noon and Bible study at 7. But, this morning I'm taking Dgd to school and then doing my facetime meeting with my bff (that's usually a Monday and Friday thing), and THEN working and doing Bible study. This also means I need to shower earlier to be ready for all this, hence I'm up now.

    Hugs all around!
    I'm with Kelly and Cooper!

    Morning~

DW Cousin flight cancelled two days in a row.....so she opted not to come.
DW later informs me that 10 are coming for Easter dinner (ugh!)!

How was kitty transfer yesterday, Raine?

    Busy day ahead.....

    Praying for Cooper.

    Have a great day!

It's my Friday at work, oh yeah!

In early out by 3pm. Grocery shopping for the weekend, then tax stuff. I want to just have fun this long weekend. Taking ds2dgf's dd Friday since they work, and Im off, Going to breakfast, a movie: wrinkle of time, which is perfect since she's a 6th grader. and then home for our dinner, egg coloring, cupcake baking party with everyone. Looking forward to getting to know her a little better without mom and my son around hehe. Should be fun!

    Have a good day BBB

    Good Morning,
    Tis TGIF Eve,
Some may have Good Friday off, not me; not complaining not here past two days.
Lee, afraid the older one gets the more they get up during the night, when I complained to doctor his suggestion was not to drink anything after 4:30. One thing that has helped is cutting down on caffeine, I now only have one cup of coffee a day then just water. Have not have tea or a soft drink in over 3 weeks, not so bad once adjusted.
We are going to DD's for Easter, carrying ham and a cake; but much easier than having 10 - 15 at our house.
Prayers continue for Cooper and Moody family, somehow our pets become members of family and sometimes behave better and are more concerned than our children.
    Steph, safe travels home.
Lisa, sometimes it is good to shake up our routines so we do not become complacent.
Dave, hope new cast feels better and allows a little more use of hand.
Hoping for a good showing and contract for Raine and Tom.
    Enjoy the Day,
    Sam I am

Sam, tru dat! I don't want to get complacent. Well, maybe sometimes.
Skip, the "ugh" surprises me ... you are an extrovert, I thought? I'd have thought you'd be super-excited for a gathering!
Mary, your time with her sounds like SO MUCH FUN! I wish I could join you!

    Good morning
Mom is mad. She wants the traditional Easter lunch. I said a rib roast or steaks on the grill. It’s here at my house. Who knows. I’ve still got plenty of time.
    I work tomorrow too
I drink plenty of water and decaf tea
I too like the new look of the board.
    Nothing new to report.

Super excited for a gathering, I can see. But, excited about cleaning the house, food prep, etc. - not so much, Lisa. I'd much rather be a guest than a host unless it's a Super Bowl party.

The Day Of A Thousand Meetings is done. Crashed hard last night. Only a few meetings today and then I'm off to Louisville tomorrow.

    Good Morning BBB.
Kitties are in their new home. All went smooth. Quiet here but this is a perfect situation for them long term.
Drone photos taken yesterday - not sure if it included video too. Jack and I hid in the house.
Lee - enjoy training with the Greek.
    Bill - just breath
    Mary - sounds fun
Sam - no Good Friday off here either. Thanks for the positive vibes on the house.
Lisa - turning the schedule upside down if fun!
    Do good out there everyone.

    Good Morning!

Raine, sending positive vibes that you can get your house sold!

Hugs and pettings for Cooper. Hugs and prayers for Kelly and her family.

Busy day today in KC. Connie speaking to high school students again today. Went very well yesterday.

Working tomorrow, no big plans for Easter. Simple ham something meal at home with our small family.

    Have a great day!

Good morning BBB. It's always great to start my day by reading all your updates.

The new cast is a bit more comfortable than the old one - she put in some extra wrist padding - but just as confining. The goal is to prevent any use of my thumb, and it succeeds.

There is an early soup dinner at church, tonight, followed by a worship service, then a late choir practice.

There will be nine for dinner on Easter Sunday, but it is at DS's house. We're taking the bread. Pretty easy for us. I enjoy having a crowd over, but DW is the one doing all the house prep, not I. We'll have a big backyard thing sometime this summer, I'm sure.

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • I have tomorrow off, just like today. Sam, you're almost there.
    • Simple dinner at home planned for Easter. We have a ham steak.
    • I have an appt. to put new tires on the scoot next Wed. That's a commitment.
    • ds2dgfdd. That's alot to wrap your mind around. I still have trouble with dsil (is that sister or son?)
    • Yay for the kitties!
    • Dave, if I recall correctly this cast is the last cast. That's something to celebrate.
    • I'm with Cooper.

In the whole coup at the coop discussion - I received this email today (no joke) from my future HOA:

Part-time Position at Willowsford Farm: Egg Washer

Eggs from our pastured chickens are an important part of our farm operations.  We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented individual to wash and inspect eggs.  Other livestock related work such as collecting eggs and caring for chickens could also be a part of the job.

Work Hours:  4 hours per day, 5 days per week.  Schedule can be somewhat flexible.  The position requires standing, bending, lifting, record-keeping, and work in a space that is minimally conditioned.  Must have reliable transportation.

    Compensation:  $8/hour.

    Compensation: $8/hour.

How do they expect me to live on that? That is not liveable wage. I'm going on strike.

Based upon compensation one would assume the surrounding residential area is either low-income rental or possibly Habitat housing.
Of course I've never heard of either if these having a HOA

For $6 a dozen (delivered to your door) - I better not find one spec of chicken *kitten* or there will be a coup on the farm over the coop!

I saw on the food network that someone put their eggs in muffin tins and baked them for hard boiled eggs. Anyone ever done that?
I just get frustrated when the egg white crumbles when you take the shell off.

    LMAO!

9-1-1... yes, I'd like to report a robbery! Someone stole our sarcastic humor. That's right. It's been replaced with a Julia Childs book. Please send some help! Quick!
