    Good Morning,
    Enjoy day off Lee,
Bill, glad back is where you can add a little to day,
Mike, how are camping and canoeing plans going for spring?
Steve, hope you got enough rain
80's here yesterday and 70's through Easter, still expecting one more cold spell which is holding me back from putting out tender plants.
Rheumatologist says I have undifferentiated inflammatory polyarthritis, Sjogren's syndrome and hypermobility syndrome for whatever these are, gave me something called Plaquenil to start taking in addition to meloxicam and tramadol then Movantik to deal with side effects. Says she is narrowing down what my issues are.
    Enjoy the Day,
    Sam I am

Good Morning! We too have spring weather for Easter. I was tempted to put on shorts when I went out to the Drs. Sam, that is one heck of a diagnosis. The narrowing down part sounds hopeful though.

I am starting some PT for my knees which are not enjoying the increased activity. Looks like my daily workout will be getting longer. I am going to back off on activity for a while and take it easy. Some nerve pain has returned, mostly from doing too much and too many short trips in the car at a time. I think getting in and out of the car is problematic at present. I am sorting through files drinking coffee (to start) as we get organized a bit more and push our refi loan across the finish line. We got the "you are approved but..." notice yesterday. The silliest request was to prove we are responsible for maintaining the road in the complex that passes in front of our unit. Documentation actually exists but I have to get it from the management company.

    Good Morning!

Still cloudy, light rain in KC today. Enough already! I believe that I have forgotten what the sun looks like, and this is supposed to be Spring! The "long ranger" forecast has it below average temps and cloudy and/or rain all of next week. Heavy sigh..... Why must it either be drought or flood. Nothing in between?

Bill, as a retired accountant/finance guy, you should be grooving on the paperwork. I know. It still sucks. I drove 2 hours after having worked all day yesterday to get paperwork and tax information to do my dad's taxes. I still have not started on my own! And yes, I have been an accountant for over 40 years and I do not like to do taxes. Necessary evil.

I have officially lost the 5 pounds that I gained last several weeks. I am now down 3 pounds for the YTD. I am disappointed, but it is still a loss. Now let's see if we can crank this up a little!

    Have a great day!

Steve, good luck on the weight-loss. And Bill, good luck on the refinancing. Sam, just pronouncing those diagnoses is painful. Lee, enjoy the dogs and the weather--- sounds like fun. Weather here warming up finally; was 55 on the way home from Boston airport.

I have lots of tentative plans for camping. Have to be careful with CPAP in spring: below 40° overnight will destroy the bearings inside. Used to bring Mr Heater propane heater inside tent, but safety concerns.

I'm definitely doing a wilderness river trip this summer with my son and his 2 teens, in Allegany national forest. Plan on camping and hiking in NH white mtns with DD & GKs. May join up with another DD & fam in Acadia NP (never been there) before they journey on into Nova Scotia in RV. My hiking pal and I usually camp somewhere remote for a week, but he's in rough shape with his back, so I may go alone this year, maybe Lobster Lake in N Woods of ME, where Thoreau went with Indian guides and hasn't changed. And Cape Cod, where I have growing family now (4 under age of 5). Trying to narrow down dates and make reservations but coordinating with busy family like pulling teeth.

    Good morning gentlemen.

It's nice to hear of summer plans. DS and I have been talking of a backpacking trip in the Olympics. The heavier than normal snowpack has to melt first.

Sam, it sounds like the doc is narrowing it down by giving a diagnosis that covers everything. "Undifferentiated inflamatory polyarthritis" seems to cover just about any ache or pain. Hope the treatment helps.

It felt strange having the cast off for a few minutes, yesterday. I got to wash my hand - carefully - too. The new cast is a bit more comfortable. She put a bit more padding over my wrist bones.
