Up early. Off to Arlington Cemetery for a sunrise service.

I agree ... that service will probably be completely amazing!
We don't have a service tonight, since we are an evening one. I have the day off. Weird. I'll probably spend a little time around the keyboard, anyway, hopefully with my girls.
We're meeting dfil and our nieces for lunch today, then having our family game day this evening. Instead of making a big meal, I'm serving a plethora of things to munch on. All healthy, to help Dd26 (and me!) out (she's down 19.4 as of last week). Dd21 is bringing some pies that she made ... her very first ones ever.
Yay! She said they burned a little, but we don't mind at all. Dd17's bf will be here, too, and possibly some other friends of mine, depending on some factors. I hope it's fun! I think it will be. I'm planning on us playing Guesstures, Apples to Apples, having a coloring contest (Dgd will be the judge), setting out our Disney pictures to get us excited for next December's family trip, a story game with phone pictures, and probably a movie when we're all played out.

Choir has lots of sining in church, today. We have three anthems, in addition to a couple congregational hymns and the Halleluja Chorus as a postlude. Did I mention how much I love singing in the choir?

Sunrise Service out on what was golf course, little cool but did not have to leave subdivision.
Heading to Dennis's old hood for brunch at DD's and DSIL's think there will be about 15 of us.

630 sunrise service inside the church.
I’ve got a turkey breast in the oven and a ham to follow.
I had two helpers in the kitchen. Cancer dog sure still eats a plenty. We told the boys that this will be the week. Neither want to be present just to come home and be a 1 dog family. Enough on that.
I live the hallelujah chorus Dave.
The message this morning was amazing. It was “what’s your 6 word statement?” It ends up being “ I know that my redeemer lives”. Pretty cool how he brought that around too.

I miss the real sunrise service we have had in our church pioneer cemetery in the past. Enjoyed our later service, the breakfast put on by the youth and our family brunch later.0
