Pour yourself a mug of your favorite morning brew. Pull up a chair and join us for our morning roll call here on the BBB.

Thanks Lee!!!
I'll leave this to those that know what they're doing!
Cold, rain to snow mix, imagine that!
I don't think my perennials are ever going to sprout up, nor will the patio furniture come out this weekend, gezzz.
Wedding tomorrow, ds2 is my date, can't wait!

Mornin' BBB.
Careful with ladders and black cats.
Never checked in yesterday. Just read everyone's posts. Love this group.
Kelly, labradoodles are pretty nice dogs. Rarely more than 70 lbs (fit not fat). Probably the best you will do with a non shedding or low shedding dog size wise.
Yoga rocks, Sam. I wish I did it more often.
Love the Annabelle stories, Lisa. You all were very cute together in matching outfits in FB photo.
I'm easily an inch shorter than I was 20 years ago. I regained half an inch doing yoga regularly, but not so regular now so probably lost the half an inch again.
BBB OP ;-)

Good Morning!
Lee, when you do the yoga, do you do regular yoga, or the power yoga that we both tried for awhile? I have a 10 minute easy app on my phone that I use 3-4 times a week. I am still working on consistency.
I hope that everyone has a great Friday!

Good morning.
I have the lunch interview at 1 today with the company that put me through 7 interviews including the infamous "gauntlet day".
This is the job that's 3 miles from the house and grooms you to take the CFO slot in a year or so. Advantages are that they play internationally, which I haven't done in a while. Family owned stability there vs political winds instability where I am. Pay will likely be less.
I'm not sure what I'm rooting for here, TBQH. I'll listen, offer some thoughts and see where it goes. Mostly, I'm dying to know what the guy did... I'm thinking he must have given someone a #metoo moment.0 -
Do we have a Birthday on BBB today?0
-
Why not ask, Lou? I would lol, At this point you have a gig ... After 7 discussions time for you to name your price, terms. My motto is if you don't ask they can't say no, or yes. Make them play their hand.0

Tis Frydee! Frydee! Frydee!!!
TGIF!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good Morning,
Expecting a beautiful day here, low 80's, sunny all is good except for pollen count was 5,098 yesterday expected to be higher today.
Does someone have a birthday? I know last month was Lisa's Birth month.
I'm told kitchen will be finished tomorrow. Granite is to be picked up this morning.
I do yoga to relax, stretch and build strength; power yoga is more like exercise to me and HOT yoga does not work with heart issues but does help arthritis.
Working WW meeting tomorrow, haven't done that in several weeks and since health issues first of year have worked very few meetings. Plus with me being over goal I feel I should not be working meetings. I believe I told this earlier when going to doctor about weight, doctor says "part of it is genes and other is meds; learn to live with it". This is not acceptable to me because when I got out of Army I weighed 125, when I got married I had to purchase suit out of boys department because waist was so small (boys 17 slim). I do not want to ever be that small again where I'm not able to gain weight but I do not like being the size I am. My weekly exercise is 4 miles in 45 minutes, 2 sets each: 10 pullups, 20 elevated pushups, 20 dips, 20 squats (325 lbs) 3 times a week plus leading yoga class. My thoughts were if meds slow metabolism down then eat less, that led to anemia. I no longer tell folks calories in and calories burned controls weight. Main reason for exercise is it helps mental attitude, outlook on life and stamina for life. Don't mean to rattle on and most times will delete vents before post, since it's Friday have some nonsense.
Enjoy the Day,

Good morning BBB crew.
Venting is acceptable, Sam. You are among friends.
The job shifting/interviewing process I see on here is fascinating - and alien - to me. I spent 34 years with the same employer. Of course, I moved 14 times, so ...
Heavy rain forecast this morning. We have already passed the "normal" totals for the month of April. TV weather guy was asked when we might get an extended period of nice weather and he replied, "Mothers Day?" Snowbird friends say they came back from Arizona too early. Sigh.0 -
Good morning BBB Friends.
- Have a great lunch Lou. Should make for an interesting weekend.
- Bill, is it your birthday? Seems right.
- Emmaus reunion picnic this evening. It is on a local farm I drive by every so often. Looking forward to seeing it up close. I may ride the scoot.
- Have a great OP day everyone.

Morning gang
Meeting with our consultant this morning then heading home. Snow, in fact blizzard conditions, forecasted for just north of home overnight. Ugh.
Meeting my college roommate for a polka themed 80s cover band tonight. It's hilarious.0 -
I try to get a session of power yoga in once a week, Steve. I really concentrate on the breathing and stretching part.
Sam I want pictures of that 325 lb squat.
Front squats with 225.0 -
Sorry folks no one has been bad enough to have to see my flab, hit gym when slack and only spotter has to look. If friend not there I use Smith Machine which they now claim can pull wrong way. Lee, with your knees should you be doing squats? Doctor had stopped me for a while because of back. I go slower now and not increasing any more weight, doctor ask why I need to use so much weight. Reckon it's the endorphins or trying to keep up with friend. Back when I started years ago rule was squat twice weight and press 100 lbs more than weight; body is too old for that now or I just weigh too much. Come to think of it when I could squat 360 it was double my weight and I did not mind anyone seeing me with or without shirt. That was a few years ago before furniture disease set in.1

Gosh feel like I have been AWOL with my early walks and PT stuff. Cold rain here starting at 39deg yesterday morning and of course lots of snow in the mountains.
•I do yoga but never "regular" yoga or "power yoga". We do modified versions of what many might call "regular" but it is a class for seniors and we do use some chairs for props too. We can work as hard as we want but are careful as need be too. I don't let my ego get in the way too much (ok just a little).
•I am total wimp weight lifting ability wise and now have a shoulder issue too. I could still ride up to 100 miles and climb 7000+ if my life depended on it I think ( I haven't ridden more than about 80 miles in a day in the last couple of years) . Down from the days I did 200 miles in a 12 hours plus but anything I can do now is all gravy. You all would just laugh at my gym stuff but hey it's all good.1 -
I would never laugh at any one who is just moving, when we slow down moss starts to grow rust begins and it's hard to start back. In other words "keep on keeping on".
But I must admit age has put a damper on some activities.1 -
That photo was taken pre knee replacement....see left knee bowed out?
Am lifting with better form now, but not as heavy.
I agree, keep moving!0 -
Sam I’m impressed. That’s a whole heck of working out.0
