What's on your mind today?

Here's where you can share what's on your mind. Recipes, ideas, workouts, anything that you think might be helpful to others.

Maybe, you've tried something that has worked for you in the past and would like to share it with the group. Maybe, you have a NSV (Non Scale Victory) that you would like to share with the group. Anything that you feel comfortable sharing or anything that you feel comfortable asking the group with help....this is the place to come.

The GOOD!! What NSV did you have this week!!
The BAD!! So what....you ate the whole thing!!
The UGLY!! That darn scale went through the window this week....it deserved it too!!

So, what's on your mind today??

I am so excited for this challenge, April has not been great for me and I'm looking forward to having a bit more of a support system and a challenge to feed my competitive side in May!

:DB):D Okay, was looking at some 5K races to give me another incentive in this challenge and so many look at a woman's weight and if you're over 150 pounds you are in the "Athena" category...LOL the goddess of wisdom and warfare - A woman would have the wisdom NOT to base entries on weight and the knowledge that warfare might occur by bringing attention to it. Have a great weekend everyone!

Looking forward to the challenge starting tomorrow! This will be my first MFP challenge. I've done fitbit ones and liked them. This is right up my alley. It will help keep me accountable in more than just one area. Seems like a great crowd too!

To LisaL, just want you to know I’m doing IF/lower carb too. I’m in my 50s too. And have been doing it for 8 days; also dropped use of any alcohol. By not having bfast (tho I put premier protein shake in my am coffee) it’s much easier to meet my calorie target and have a 16hr overnite fast. I’m keeping fiber up and net carbs around 50g. Stay in the challenge and let’s see how we do! Happy May Day everyone!! MM

I’ve also been experimenting with IF. It’s kind of weird how I can make it to 1 o’clock and not feel hungry. Lots of coffee helps. I’m in my 50s, too!

Yay! Glad you're staying in it! If it was easy we wouldn't need a challenge or accountability. Good luck today!

I'm back for May after a not-so-good April - nothing major just some of low-level niggles plus a couple of social events. It's a Public Holiday here today, but not one that involves markets or celebrations, so apart from the shops being closed no real effect on me (I'm retired so no work every day!). Hope we all have a good month.

bored out of my mind and waiting for the workers to finish up a building project in the house....I've wandered down to the kitchen so many times to mindlessly eat something just to pass the time - and I've resisted each time but I really do want something to eat!!
