Fitness pal is counting the burning of my calories for steps but not the steps. How do you setup fitnesspal to sync up with fitbit to record the step count in exercise

    Step count doesn't show up in Exercise Diary in MFP - it's merely a stat like weight or other measurements you may create and track.

    MFP is also receiving a data feed from Fitbit with steps and daily calorie burn up to that point, it shows the first and does math with the latter.

    Now if you mean it's not showing as a stat at all, then check your app - it has setting for Step source, which should be Fitbit of course.
