Mornin' gents.
Back from walking pups and doing a little yard work. S'posed to hit 70 here today.
Steve, I wonder if your cat's destructiveness is why she was available to come into your home. It is the number one reason for pets to be surrendered to Shelters.
Bill, I was smiling by the end of the trial. We placed third.

Glad for your nice dog trial Lee. Suppose to get outta the 50s and back into the mid 70s starting tomorrow.
Hope all are well or healing.0 -
Good morning gentlemen.
First PT appointment in two weeks, this morning. Perhaps, now, I will move beyond gently touching my thumb to my finger tips.
Real concern with my right eye. My vision is getting worse and worse. Doctors are unsure as to why. I have another test scheduled for nest week. Until this stabilizes, I am, esentially, one-eyed. Hasn't seemed to affect my depth perception, yet, so I am able to function normally.
DS and DDIL got a pair of cats before they had children. One of the cats, Basil, by name, has always been a bit different. When their son was born, Basil started marking his territory. They got that under control through medication - kind of expensive medication. Now, the cat has gotten much worse, to the point that they are considering having Basil put down. They are really torn up about it, but the cat is clearly very unhappy - and so are they. Their other cat, Tchaikovsky, has no issues, at all. He adopted our grand daughter while she was still in a bassinette, and purringly tolerates everything a four- and a two-year old throw at him. Just goes to show how individual our pets are. Just like people.0 -
Good Morning!
Lee, we live at the edge of town. There are open fields just across the road, less than 1/4 mile from our house. We have had TWO cats over the last 20 years that just showed up. Pookie is nearly snow white. One day, a couple of years ago, I spotted her inside our garden fence. Over the next couple of days, it was clear that she was not going anywhere. She kept edging closer to our house. Finally, we set out a food bowl for her, as she was very skinny. I took her to the vet. The vet checked and found a chip. She tried to call the people, before we could just keep the cat. The people listed on the chip said "no, we don't own any cats, never had!" So, now we have Pookie. Except for scratching the furniture, she is a good cat. We had tidbit, found in a similar situation, for over 12 years. Pookie has always scratched the furniture some, but it has been increasing lately as we have several new pieces of furniture. We love her, but can also get very ticked off at her. Something like a child. I have a 24 year old child that I am willing to give to anyone who wants him!Maybe I'll just take the 9mm to both of them, and have a few less headaches! My father-in-law who passed in 2009, was married to my mother-in-law for over 50 years. He used to say "if I had shot her when I first thought about it, I'd be out of jail by now."
Have a great day!

Good Morning! Spring weather is settling in with 70s/50s for the foreseeable future. PT went well, we are ramping things back up now that the knee has settled down again. So its back to the full workout without weights or resistance bands and restarting the big 10min walk.
Dave, I hope they can figure out your eye thing pretty quickly, despite the red tape.
Sam for the record I saw your post yesterday and today. Perhaps we now know where some of the WW IT folks ending up working.
Steve, perhaps you could do field trials with Pookie and the coyotes. Or take Pookie kayaking.0
