General Tajic Stormhaven

"Welcome, Friends, Meridians, and Countrymen, to the last stand of freedom amongst men who would rather see it taken away. For too long have we lived under the boot of the Alesnian Empire; for too long have we suffered injustice at their hands; for too long has their nobles and aristocrats lived off the blood and sweat of our brow. But no more! We shall rise up, my fellow Meridians, and we shall lead this resistance to victory. With your dedication, hard work, and sacrifice, you will not only benefit yourselves and take up the mantle of the image you have always wanted but you will also lead our great Kingdom of Meridia to victory. Let's see what you can do!"

"Now, firstly I'll need to separate individuals into the three categories: Warriors, Healers, and Rogues. I shall address the Warriors first:


'Warriors! You have chosen a demanding path and I expect no less than excellence from you. You will be the arms that carry the sword and shield for the army! I want to see your prowess; show me your strength and stamina. Drop and give me 30!'

Objectives: General Tajic Stormhaven wants you to give him 30 push-ups a day this week. He also asks that you prove your stamina by traveling another 12 miles. Bonus Objective: Really show General Stormhaven you mean business: Give him 50 push-ups a day, and only count running or swimming as a travel method.


'Healers! You have chosen a demanding path and I expect no less than excellence from you. You will be the shield that defends us against the opposition. I want to see your prowess; show me your health and vitality. Show me what you've got!'

Objectives: General Tajic Stormhaven wants you to eat at least 6 vegetarian meals this week (This will require an open Food-Diary). As you post meals, apply a rating (Healthy, Average, or Unhealthy) to each of your meals. Your total Healthy Meals must be greater than your Unhealthy meals to complete this Objective. He also asks that you prove your vitality by travelling another 6 miles. Bonus Objective: Really show General Stormhaven you mean business: Give him 10 vegetarian meals, have twice as many Healthy meals as Unhealthy meals, and travel 8 miles instead.


'Rogues! You have chosen a demanding path and I expect no less than excellence from you. You will be the brains that outwit the opposition and the shadow they fear. I want to see your prowess; show me your skill and agility. Impress me with your skill!'

Objectives: General Tajic Stormhaven wants you perform at least 2 of these drills each day: Climb 20 stairs, perform 20 jumping jacks, do 20 crunches or sit-ups, and/or 20 lunges or squats. He also asks that you prove your agility by travelling a mile as quickly as possible at least 3 times this week and post your time; strive for 12 minutes or less. Bonus Objective: Really show General Stormhaven you mean business: Perform 3 of the listed drills each day and travel a mile as quickly as possible 4 times this week and post your time; strive for 10 minutes or less for the bonus objective.

    Did jumping jacks, squats, and stairs every day of the week. Did 1 mile peddling 4 times in a little over 10 minutes.

    I definitely didn't do that well on the challenge this week. My 30th birthday was last Wednesday so I wasn't as motivated as I have been. I am definitely going to be making up for it this week though!! I did stairs & jumping jacks 4 out of the 7 days. I only managed to get in the one mile once last week and I finished in right under 12 minutes. This week is going to be a much better week and I am looking forward to the new challenge!
