Ok ... I **think** I got it right this time, but will admit that I'm not 100% sure. Can I phone a friend???

I've been a little crazy-busy lately, so haven't read here and am totally out of the loop. I remember years ago when Skip (I think) would post a summary. If you're feeling up to it, please do! :)

We had the bridal shower Sunday, and it went beautifully. My other daughters threw it for her. Dd26 loves planning these kinds of things, and is very good at it - creative and organized all at the same time. I'm proud of them all!

Then Dd21 stayed with us until yesterday, and had several appointments and tasks to work on. It is kinda nice having a quieter house again for a bit ... I was ready for the rest.

    Mornin' BBB.

Its good to be busy, Lisa. So long as its not chaos. Good to see you pop in. Mary seems to have her finger on the pulse of all that is happening.

Straw bales are starting to smell like someone or something has been urinating on them. Its a normal part of the conditioning process prior to planting. Pear tree and grape vines are flowering. We have violets blooming throughout our front lawn. Hate to mow when that is happening.

Another beautiful day. Hating that I have to go to work.

    BBB OP ;-)

Good to see you lisa. The date is getting closer. Excitement is brewing.
Gorgeous day here. I’m working my *kitten* off. It must be small because the scale isn’t moving much.

    Good Morning BBB.
Storms approaching - monthly training for Jack and me today. I may sneak out early and hit Costco :D
Keep sending the mojo - our buyer will appear soon - I feel it.
Kelly - there are two things - ApplePay let’s you pay for stuff with a credit card and ApplePay Cash lets you pay people through the messages app. Both are easy and secure.
Lee - I feel the same way about the violets in our grass too.
Steph - I hope you can relax this weekend.
Mary - love your planters and baskets.
    Do good out there everyone.

    Morning~

Lisa - glad everything went great!
Found some Alaskan Amber here in DEN yesterday. Nirvana!
Last day of meetings and fly home early tomorrow morning. Ready to get home and get organized for the move next week. Anyone interested in coming to help? I pay well

    Off to work.

    Cheers,

    Good morning.

The advantage of Apple and Google Pay is that they send junk card information to the merchant instead of your actual card info. Downside is that your real card info is sitting in the cloud somewhere acting as a juicy target for hackers.

Yesterday was a "lost day". Hoping to get something done today.

The sky is not falling. Apple Pay is just as secure as PayPal (similar protections). If they want my data; purchase history from Starbucks and my preference for Indie shorts - well, have at it.

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • The on-line financial world is scary but very convenient. Be careful.
    • Kelly, in this case leading lunch is more than I bargained for. Doing all the food shopping, lining up the volunteer help, set up, serving and clean up. I didn't realized this guy was doing all that.
    • Skip, coming home is the best part of a business trip. Especially when you are getting ready to move into the palatial manor.
    • Sending mojo to Raine and Tom and their home sale.
    • Glad the shower went well Lisa. Thinking of you when I saw a young couple home shopping in your neck of the woods on House Hunters.
    • Sam is counting down.

    Good morning BBB.

Happy walk-thru, shower, etc. went well.

Very stopped up, this morning. My combination allergies and head cold go on. I can deal with it.

PT for hand went well. He says I can lose the molded plastic brace, now. I have a soft one I might continue to eear to discourage hand shakes without detailed explanations.

Ophthalmology tests involved injecting dye in my vein, the taking photos ov the dye as it spread through veins in my eyes. So much fun being dilated and having flashes go off in your eye every few seconds for 15 minutes. Now I pee dayglow yellow for the next few days.

Final follow-up with my hand surgeon today, too.

Very stopped up and very stuffed up tend to me to be in relation to total opposite ends, lol. Sorry your all stuffed up in the head, Dave.

I'm gifting ds2 and dgf porch planters and baskets for their place. Me and her are plant shopping, and then planting them tomorrow after work together. Nice bonding time I hope, and happy she's interested in my offer & efforts and my interest in all things gardening. I'll turn ds2 into a gardener in no time. He also wants herbs on their back porch, both he and she like to cook, so I'll grant him his wish there. Im thinking basil, rosemary, cilantro for sure. She'll pick out the front porch stuff.

And now my neice wants my help doing the front porch of their new house. I got her thinking about a budget $$, the colors she wants, and sent her over to Aldi's for some nice planters/cocoa baskets etc. they have this week (8.99 ea). Aldi's has some great garden finds, even plants at times, etc. This is my calling. 2yrs I've been thinking about opening my own small business and doing porch and patio plantings, etc. for my next career.... could do commercial and residential patios and porches, change them out for the season ... Heck, I'll even come water for a price.... That, and SO thinks I should do a food truck business, as well. hmmmmm I may need these ideas sooner than later. Business is down and we have no one in charge here, or a business plan here, like same old story. My friend is like why put your efforts in all day for someone elses business that they take no interest in, and profit to just spend. Do it for yourself....

Also Sending mojo to Raine and Tom for an offer!

Pouring Raine here since 7am, the lawn and gardens need a good drink!

Is Steve on vacation now!? woohoo

    Have a great day BBB

•Lisa that must be joyful and exciting to have bridal shower and more.
•Lee: good grief sorry I am missing out on the pizzzzola smelling bales of straw. Ah nice. At least my pole sugar snap peas are now over 6 feet tall and both the short bushy ones and the pole ones will be ready to eat starting in about a week (a few one inch pods poking out).
•Yeah Skip Alaskan amber is ok in my book too.
•Oh got ya on the hand shakes Dave. with my shoulder PT there were definite times I didn't want the handshakes. I am learning the fist bumps which is also better for hygiene too they say. Yeah flourescein apparently can glow too as well as be yellow.

Hey be good do good all!!
