Tom's friend is doing drone photography today - it is the perfect day since sun is shining, the oak trees are only about 1/3 leafed out, and the ornamental crab trees are about to pop their blooms.
Training was good - they do not trust me with a handheld GPS unit or even a compass. I am good with that since whenever I am deployed I have a search member with me and their job is to know where we are and we’re we are going.
Sam - when does DMIL leave?
Kelly - where are you going on vacation?

Good morning.
I'm alone in the office today! It *is* heavenly to not have people around. I'm sending my controller down to Springfield to transition payroll for one of my C3's and drop off a computer for a new clerk starting next week. My facilities manager has to meet the dryer vent guy, so she's remote too.
Of course, I have to be in the office early though to bring the computer down to him - no place to park for 5 minutes downtown. So that screws up my breakfast schedule.0 -

Last time I was in Colorado Springs I was deploying to Kuwait to shake my fist at Sadaam Husein.
Land navigation is hard for many people to do, Raine. I spent years training soldiers and for a substantial portion it just never clicked.
Cool rain, today, before we warm up this weekend, into the mid to high 80s. Best of all, the 10-day forecast is all 70s and 80s. Time to dig my collection of shorts out of the dresser.

Mary you should go for it. You have such a great eye for color. Lots of people in my neighborhood would pay for this service. Just need to find the right area of people with money but no time.
Ron made it 59 miles from Memphis toward Little Rock yesterday. He didn’t call for a ride so I assume all went ok. I’ll meet up with him later this afternoon. Not really sure what the rest of the week entails. Seeing the sights of Arkansas.

Picked up my new Rx glasses, and Rx sunglasses, yay! These sunglasses are going to be so nice with this Graves Eye Disease I deal with !
Half the day is over already woot! Heading to the garden center later and to get my fingers in some dirt.
Weekend is filling up with home to do list, an 11yo's b-day party, etc. etc. Sounds like we are going to try out the new pressure washer and clean the house siding. Then set up the patio furniture, mount new tiki lights, assemble the new sst grill, plant my order Im picking up Friday, and cut grass again by SO. hmmm I really only have two things on this long list LOL. Go the party and plant my plants ha!
Im up 2lbs again this week. sigh. Total lost is now only 8lbs. Best decide and do what I need to be doing. Also think my thyroid hormones are wacked a bit again, although maybe that's just an excuse.
