Good morning gentlemen.
So, the hand surgeon says I am progressing just fine - and wants to see me again in six weeks. I thought I was through with him. He also doesn't think I should do my left thumb this year. "You don't want two bad thumbs at the same time," he said. That doesn't bode well for how long it will take to get back to 100 percent on my right thumb. At least I will start working on regaining strength in a few days.
Cool rain today. DW wants me to take her to the casino. OK. At least it makes her take a break from yard work. She works too hard, and we aren't getting any younger.

Mornin' gents.
Good you are progressing just fine with hand, Dave. Good surgeons like to do follow up appointments to ensure that everything is going OK and not getting screwed up by the patient or the PT guy.
Yard work and haircut today.

Got haircut Tuesday, took over 5 inches off.
Dave, I still have some issues with my hand and thumb and I had surgery back in December; believe what doctor is telling you is though he said it would take 12 weeks for healing he really meant 12 months.
Upper 80's today 90's for weekend. Believe ground is warm enough for okra now.
Wish I had a DW that loved to garden, instead I have a DMIL that loves to mess everything up.
Enjoy the Day,

Good Morning. I am glad to hear the good report Dave. I agree with Lee on the timeline issues. Getting my right knee X-rayed this morning to give PT a sense of what she is up against, arthritis wise to try to address some of the setbacks I have had. The "you need to stop running" MRI was almost 4 years ago. Then I am off to finally get the implant process completed. Sunny warm weather continues.0

G'afternoon, men. Doing a lot of cat-napping these days. My friend Dave, who just got off the walker and can go only a hundred yards maybe with a cane, wants to go camping in Maine in two weeks. Meanwhile, he's looking into selling their house because he can't maintain it any longer, and is selling off his carpentry tools. Told him to wait and see; he is improving albeit very slowly. Patience with sickness is hard for anybody, and he's been a go-getter all his life. Sad to see...
Haven't heard any more on my new CPAP machine, probably red tape getting unravelled.
Dave, hope your eye problem gets resolved...0
