Morning~
Two hours away from closing! Exciting day! Got my painters started in the house yesterday. Unfortunately, think I got tinge of food poisoning from the Bleu and Brew fest the day before so never went back out to see how much progress he made. Closing is a 9a. Let the games of the week begin!
Hope all have a good week!0 -
Good Morning,
Continues HOT, needed air on in car coming in this morning.
Enjoyed calm and peaceful weekend once DMIL got gone about 10 pm Friday night. At 9:15 she is sitting in great room, DW ask if she had her bag upstairs, "no I'll get it" next DW ask DMIL why her medicine was still sitting on shelf, "I have to take it tomorrow", "how can you take it tomorrow with it here?", "I'll take it in morning and tomorrow night" "if you are in Canton and your medicine is here how are you going to take it?" DMIL sits there mouth open saying nothing, about 3 minutes later house phone rings, nephew has been trying trying to get in gate, DSIL called to get code since DMIL would not answer her phone, DMIL had her cell phone in suitcase. "She hollows I'm not going till Friday"
Got lots done, garden is all planted, now I need to figure out a way to keep birds off front porch.
Kelly, congrats on DS graduation,
Dave, great you got to spend a little time in shop, just don't undo what you and docs have accomplished the past couple of months.
Skip, take deep slow breaths, it will all come together some how.
Enjoy the Day,

Good morning
Sam you have your hands full!!!
Good luck
DH came home sick from work. Bad cold I hope I don’t get it. 4 days until vacation. Leaving Friday afternoon returning on the 25th at night.
Hope you all have a great day.0 -
Good morning.
Good luck with the closing, Skip!
JC Superstar was good. Our seats were pretty far back though, so there wasn't much to see - particularly with the dark set.
Raining this morning. Trains are running 2-17 minutes late due to 'freight interference". I swear they pick these excuses out of a hat sometimes. I'm actually on the earlier train that came around the time of my normal train.0 -
Good morning BBB friends.
Pleasant day, yesterday. Enjoyed the beautiful day with an al fresco brunch at DS's house.
Congratulations on the closing, Skip. That's always been a bitter-sweet occasion, for me: happy to get the business done, tempered by the happy memories of the house we were leaving.
Really beautiful, up here on Puget Sound, right now. Blooming rhododendrons, in a riot of colors, are everywhere. DW took this photo Saturday, to send her friend. All the landscaping on our lot has been the work of a 4' 11", 100 lb. lady.

Mornin' BBB.
Hope everyone had a great weekend.
Cool and wet here, Sam. I remember those hot Georgia nights from my training days at Ft Benning. It was so hot the DIs had us drink a whole canteen of water in formation after breakfast before doing any training to make sure no troops would suffer from dehydration and heat exhaustion.
Pulled a stump with me wee truck yesterday. Just wrapped a tow rope around the stump, and then put truck in low 4x4. Easy peasy. It was just a wee stump from another ornamental evergreen that got too big. But I felt like Paul Bunyan. Maybe I shoulda named my truck "Babe".
Today is planting day for the straw bales. But alas, no plants to plant. No time this weekend to go to local nurseries.
Good you got the "early" train, Lou. You know what they say, "early is on time".

Good Morning BBB.
Raining here - spring rain and then some.
Well - we bought a new camper yesterday - it’s a Grand Design toy hauler - the company was started by a guy that left Keystone because he wanted to do better. Love the fit and finish. We will pick it up next week and drive it to FL - switch out our belongings at the dealership in Tampa.
Sam - enjoy your peace
David - your home is beautiful and you DW is amazing - love the Pacific NW rhododendrons.
Lee - no plants then what is the plan?
Kelly - I hope DH feels better and that you don’t catch it! Congrats to DS! Loved the pics.
Bill - happy closing!
Lou - the computer system in our area always provides wonderful stories.
Do good out there everyone.0 -
Nice trailer! Im sure the used one Im looking at tonite wont hold a candle to this baby, Raine! Wowza! Though we are just looking for something to dump up at the lake lot to play in a few weekends this summer, and let the kids enjoy it too, so we don't want to spend much... problem there is if you don't want to spend much, you don't get much.
Nice photos Kelly! Pool looks clear for sure! Hope dh feels better.
Cool and raining here again. We just can't catch a nice spring streak of weather. Havoc for us gardeners, for sure this year! Stuff just isn't coming up yet, still! Those last two big snow storms in April did us in. Patience!!! they say.
It is Friday yet, going to be a long work week! uugggh.
Enjoy the vacation while dmil is gone, Sam.
Very nice home and front yard David, tell DW she is a woman with much garden talent! Love it
Cheers to a smooth closing Skip!
Steph, happy store makeover!
Lee, hope you can get some time off to get to the garden center before its slim pickins!
Hope at least you had good coffe Lou, and hey you were not late!0 -
It’s hot here and I mean hot
Love the new house Raine. It’s a real beaut
Lee, my mom is going to plant her tomatoes in straw bales this year. We shall see.1 -

Continues hot Sam. Hey it hit about 90°F (89°+ anyway) at my house near PDX yesterday and will be 90°F today too. HOT for us in PacNW.
•OMG Dave whatta gorgeous landscaping job!!!
•Enjoyed my second batch of Sugar Snap Peas last night. Friday had a few fresh from garden in our salads and last night wonderful impromptu stir-fry of snap peas w red peppers and onion. Lightly stirred but still bright green and tasty. YUM
•Lee ya gotta get some plants for your straw bales soon.0
