Welcome to all returning UAC team members and our new team members.
Please read the rules. Please post every day.
One big thing: There are only 3 Pass days allowable each month for those (like the ones above) to be able to qualify for the Winner's Circle.
BUT, even if you go over 3 Pass Days per month, you are encouraged to stay in the group and keep on keeping on to develop the healthy habits of thoughtfully tracking each and every bite, lick, and morsel; choosing to do at least 20 minutes per day of exercise (sweaty exercise is best, but not required); and consuming less calories per day than your chosen daily limit; and finally, posting your daily report...daily would be perfect, but no less than every 3 days.

I start vacation after work today. I have a whole to do list but the electrician came last night and it was a simple fix so one thing off my list.
Tonight after work is our 5 k for the school. I rallied the troops I have a group walking with me. It's not a hardship the bank pays our entry fee. Just hope it's not a down pour. LOL
I am feeling pretty happy this morning.8 -
Good morning all & Happy Fabulous Friday!!!
I keep reminding myself that the weekends are NOT "Green Lights" for cheat days.
I have been doing sooo good and this past week I gained 1.6 lbs, which had me so bummed since I have not been at that weight in as long as I could remember... However, today I am beginning a new meal plan which I hope helps knock off these lbs which I have NO IDEA WHERE THEY CAME FROM since I have been strictly dieting since May 2nd... And in 4 weeks I have lost almost 17lbs but now I'm up 1.6...
This AM I woke up and squeezed in a 38 min workout.
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes, 38 min
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes, Already have my meals and snacks prepped.
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes, It's all entered into my foods list.
How many will join me on being as good as possible this weekend????
Steps I will take:
-Count ALL Calories
-Keep Track of Carbs
-Plan meals ahead (either meal prep or mental prep)
-Don't eat because I'm bored or because everyone else is eating
-Purchase some low calorie, low carbs snacks for JIC boredom eating strikes...

All set to start this challenge. Weighed in this morning. Goal for June is -6 lbs. Larger goal is to have a great A1C number in time for my September physical.

Congratulations to everyone in the winners circle! It's nice to see familiar names, as well as new ones. I was in UAC for about 6 months last year, and it kept me on track. I lost 10 pounds and made it to my goal weight. This group is was supportive and helpful.
Then I got overwhelmed with work, had a couple of flus, and quit logging in. I fell into old habits, and I've put 6 lbs back on, and am out of shape. Sigh, ah well. I seem to have lost my willpower.
I'm going to commit to June, one day at a time, and see where it takes me. I'm look forward to following everyone's progress, and getting to know you again.

Hi Everyone! So excited to start this challenge.

CW: 221 (June 1)
Goal: 210 by July 5 (next checkup)
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? 10 minutes stretching, 5141 steps, 14 flights of stairs, and I haven’t gone for my evening walk yet.

Mode: frustrated. Got a spider bite on my toe and the itching is driving me crazy! It’s so bad it woke me up in the middle of the night.

Last month I focused on higher quality foods and cleaner eating. This month I'm going to tighten up a little more and do keto ratios as well. I will up my workouts a hair and I'm putting myself on my own plank challenge. Long cardio day today.
