Eating at a deficit and still not losing

I'm 6'1", 268lbs and have been on this journey since January. My BMR is 2072 and TDEE is 2486, at least since I've become sedentary from injuring my knee. I started out by following the MFP calculations and followed that for a few months but lost absolutely nothing! I later found out about the spreadsheet someone made on here and according to the calculations I was overeating, which would explain my stall. I've kept my calories set at the spreadsheet recommendations (1843)since but still haven't lost. I almost always come in under calories although the types of food I'm eating could use a complete overhaul. I'm usually under in protein and carbs but over in fat. Most women on my friends list are eating between 1200 and 1600 calories, granted, they are much shorter than I am. So that poses the question, could I be eating too many calories?

As you know by now. A lot of this stuff is trial and error. What works for some does not work for all. I think your calories are fine, but I am seeing a lot of salt and little fruits and veggies. I would up your protein, use a protein powder if necessary, lose the mayo and replace it with a healthy fat like avocado and add some leafy greens.
I go through pounds of spinach a week just by adding them to smoothies. You dont taste it at all. I have been lazy with my veggies overall this week I must confess. I tend to do much better when I plan ahead and make a couple of days worth of fruit/veggie smoothies in advance in glass mason jars to grab and go. Kale, spinach, beet tops, celery, frozen berries, mango, whatever you have handy.
Keep at it and dont give up! :flowerforyou:0
