So, I had to rush out of town due to a family emergency - and ended up missing the Light day of the earlier week, and the Heavy day of this week. (Claston, no longer Cycle buddies, boohoo!)
What's the best approach for me now? Should I repeat last week's Heavy & Medium this week (8 rep week) and then start the 9 rep week next Monday? Or do 2 Heavy workouts - at 9 reps this week itself?

You missed only the light day of week 1 (8 reps), right? And the heavy day of week 2 (9 reps)? I would let week 1 be as it is. As for this week, All Pro did say that when missing a workout, you could do 2 instead of 3 workouts for that particular week. Both workouts will then have to be heavy days, with 2 non-lifting days in between.
