Good morning BBB Friends.
- Sleep is over-rated. I woke up at 4am and decided I'd tossed and turned enough.
- Got approved for hearing aids at the VA yesterday and it only took a year and a half. Should have them in 6 weeks.
- Took DW to a new Mexican restaurant last night. It was good.

18 months for a hearing aid? I'd have given up long ago and gone to Costco. I'll bet they count on a certain percentage of VA patients to seek private care rather than wait.
We have a bird that's taken up residence just outside our window that has a fondness for greeting us at 4:30. When we run the A/C, it's not a problem. But, we've had the windows open.

Don't know where my car is; I have receipts for a few hundred bucks; and couldn't tell you how I got to bed. WOO HOOOO.... Lord Stanley's Cup belongs to us!

Eye exam yesterday - geesh I'm getting old. Changed again. Decided to have two pair of sunglasses done too with scripts. Yikes. Expensive.

Adjusted prescriptions and sample contacts are amazing - I can see without wearing multiple levels of readers
Ordered two pair of glasses at Costco - both transitions - one for everyday that goes totally clear and one for driving that always has some amount of tint but polarized and changes for conditions. Should be great on the bike too!

Happy for you Skip, but sad for the Las Vegas fans. They were really into their Golden Knights.
I looked into the price of prescription sunglasses, too. I really need high quality, wraparound, bifocal, polarized lenses, in lightweight sports frames, to protect my eyes at altitude in the mountains - snow fields, etc. Geez, the cost is more than I paid for my first two cars.0 -

Lets see 1st car $100.00 second car $300.00 yep glasses more than my first cars also. First new car was a demo, about $1,600. First house $25,500, hard to pay more for a car than I did for house.
Perseverance pays, of course hands get beat up from hitting wall.

Went to get my oil changed and they didn't have me in the computer so now I have to go back later. Got up early for nothing.

- I got a few more hours of sleep.
- Stanley Cup? I knew a Stanley Jackson, but no Stanley Cup.
- Lou, the quest for a VA paid-for hearing aid was treated like a hobby. I could always tell DW I was trying to do something. Now I'll actually have to wear the darn thing.
- Sam, the new Mexican restaurant is Lupita's. It is in the spot that used to be Luigi's Italian which moved to where Maria's used to be. That pretty much sums up the state of restaurants around here.
