Good morning
Got home around 9 from grad party. I poured the wine and handed out the beer. A DRUNK couple throwing the f bomb non stop worked my last nerve so I called it quits. Only 1 can take so much of Mahew ( his last name). Ha.
Headed out to get a puppy to visit here for the day. It will test Sally’s last nerve.

I survived the recovery day.....Did I mention, Lord Stanley's Cup is in the Nation's Capital! WOOOT!
Today is playing catch up with school. I signed up to teach four summer classes (need to pay for a new paver patio project). So no rest of the wicked.
I hate foul-mouthed drunkards! Time and a place.

Skip, do you know the first American team to win the Stanley Cup: (The Seattle Metropolitans, 1917, 3-1 over the Montreal Canadiens).
I frequently rant about the demise of manners in our society. Rather than being impositions on personal freedom, they were ways for all to get through daily life with minimal irritation. The constant use of foul language in public is an example ... (fill in rant here).
Both grandkids fell asleep late in the afternoon and were not feeling like retiring at bedtime a few hours later. Too many trips upstairs to determine the source of the racket and get them calmed down.0 -

I bartender through undergraduate and foul-mouthed drunkards tested my patience. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t take offense to swearing but, like Bill said, time and a place.

I found a half-pound this week, Dennis
Fun out with gf's last night til 12. No f bombs but lots of chatter and laughs lol.
One gf brought me some rubarb, so already this a.m.made some lower fat rubarb and fresh stawberry muffins using a recipe with plain 0 greek yogurt. They smell great, but kinda of flat topped, didn't rise much hmmm . Oh well.
Wow, the Brewers last night! Big score
Dahlias move from pots into the ground today. Then I swear I'm done planting, really. Heehee

Good morning.
Today is the Walk With Mitchell event my Rotary club is putting on. It's done in coordination with the local animal shelter where you can "rent" a dog to walk with if you don't have one! So, of course, it's raining.
Based on appearances, I'd say the imbecile was a kid who goes to one of the downtown college campuses, Skip. Part of why I weep for the future. The lady with the pizza, I'd estimate, was in her upper 40's to low 50's. I figure if she's got connections to get hot pizza at butt-thirty in the morning, she's someone I should get to know.
I did get to see a guy who was staring into his phone walk right into a parked car yesterday. That. Was. Awesome.
