How do you deal with closeted family members?

Hi everyone. I am wondering what do you do and how do you cope or deal with that. My wife came out to her parents, so they do know that we are a married couple. But whenever there's a function or an opportunity for an introduction, she's introduced as a daughter, and I'm introduced by name. Never as a family member, like a daughter in law or anything like that. I find it very hurtful, although her parents are pretty old and it took her most of her life to come out to them, so i think she's a bit closeted herself. I'm openly gay, and we had many discussions and fighrs over this, but it remains. She promised that she will introduce me as wife, but it doesn't happen every time, i think she finds certain situations are more challenging than others, so it kind of depends on the company? And she wouldn't correct her parents introduction either. Thoughts? I find it very offensive.
