    Mornin' BBB.

LOVE your house, Raine (saw photos of interior on FB). Architecturally unique. Beautifully renovated. Cannot believe it hasn't sold yet.

Praying for your DFIL and family, Skip.

I was only mildly active yesterday and it was about all I could handle. More fatigue than pain, but I did get a little stiff and sore by day's end. Just a reminder that current therapies are just managing the inflammation and we still need to nail down a diagnosis so we can get to the root of the problem.

    BBB OP ;-)

    Good Morning BBB.
Chef brought the same older lady friend (mid 80s) that was with him the first time he saw the house. She and I chatted while he walked the property. Lovely woman, she actually taught French at a school I attended but 10 years after I graduated. The chef loves the house and property and said he would be in touch.
Training tomorrow up north of Milwaukee - 8 buildings that are scheduled for demo - should ge big fun!
Mary - we can definitely share ideas for “glamping” accessories.
Lee - so I’m confused - are the docs thinking it’s not a tick-borne illness?
    Bill - how is DFIL?
Sam - don’t I recall that you already have travel plans?
Kelly - when will your son hear the results of his physical?
    Do good out there everyone.

DFIL not improving. Pastor here yesterday; lots of family coming through the weekend (ironic since they've never come before >:)>:)>:)>:)>:)
Mary anxious for the Glamping report after your weekend at the lake!
Sam - are you still on DMIL tooth extraction and grandchildren duty?
SGM - LOVE the views of the PNW - #jealoustoo
Good luck for DSIL interview! He's got this!

    Good morning.

Yes, Raine. It's Illinois. The property taxes average 2.7% of home values a year. So, on a modest home, that's a good sized number. For many folks, property taxes alone cap out the SALT deduction on the Federal return. And then they jacked up income taxes again last year. And they're still noodling on making the tax tables more progressive...

Yes Lou - and property taxes in Illinois increased countywide last year and this year by around 3% even though property values have gone down.

Raine, tests have pretty much ruled out tick borne disease at this point. A special lyme PCR test is being run on the joint fluid, but its just being done to confirm its not lyme disease. So far the rheumatoid and other chronic immune mediated diseases have tested negative. If the joint fluid comes back negative for gout (my uric acid was normal) and other diseases, then the diagnosis by exclusion of every thing else was some sort of viral infection (possibly tick borne?) that caused a polyarthritis. Which virus would be anyone's guess. Ticks are vectors for so many bugs its not even funny.

    • Lee, get well my friend.

    Good morning BBB friends.

Keeping you and your family in our prayers, Bill.

If its a virus, Lee, I hope it soon runs its course.

Sounds very positive, Raine. My fingers remain crossed.

Planned to go fishing today. But I posted a piece of woodworking euipment for sale and now I have to wait for a guy to drive down from Vancouver, B.C. to pick it up. He thinks he can make the drive in three hours and arrive at 1. I think it will take him at least four. Oh well, the fish aren't going anywhere.

Fingers crossed Raine...I hope you can come to an agreement!

I try to ride 100-150 miles a week. Totally depends on my travel schedule. We try to do 35-50 each weekend day and two shorter rides during the week.

Jury duty store is a good one. I did get called to the jury box but got dismissed when they went from 12-6 jurors to didn't actually get to hear the case. Overview is a local MMA fighter must have assaulted his uber driver, but based on the questions they asked us maybe just verbally abused. I'm pretty sure they dismissed me based on how many ride shares I take a week. When the lawyer the group about our familiarity I spoke up. I take 2-3 a week on average. It was a fun experience I just wish I wasn't so busy at work...I really need to be in Indiana or Arkansas next week and cannot really plan that.

Mostly I was there for about 3 hours total then was sent home. I have to call in each night to see if I have to go back.

I just got the following email from the contactor's office manager:

Mary, your lot is done! .....That's it, no invoice, no photos, nothing. I'm excited and hopeful and can't leave office soon enough to get going. I wonder if the exclamation point she typed is annoyance since I was badgering them to get it done by end of this week, or she shares my excitement? !!! LOL

I just called electric company since I haven't heard an update, since them taking my $1800.00 that said... back then, "you are on the turn on schedule for Friday July 13. "

Todays response: "you are on the schedule for Friday July 13, thats today". "Its not done yet (as of 11am) but call us back at 4pm before we leave for the weekend to check".

    errrrr
(how bout you get Gomer over there now to hit the on switch, then he can go fishin, or jump in the lake, or whatever he desires.... ;) (I think they just like to mess with the seasonal land owners and take as much money as they can, while they can).

Love the video, Kelly! (ask and you shall receive)

    LMAO: "....get Gomer"

    Have a super trek!

Steph - we have 60 miles of trails here at our new community - so I'm in market for a good trail bike. Since back woes haven't been able to return to running. Any recommendations for a good "Chevy" (not a Pinto not a Cadillac)....?

I've been very happy with my Trek hybrid (~$800) that I mostly use on limestone but before I got the road bike worked just fine on pavement too. We are currently looking at endurance bike for van living so we only need one set of bikes. Kinda the best of both worlds. Of course the one Ron wants is $4000.

You should be able to get a great bike in the $1200 range. Highly recommend clipless pedals. If you think you will do casual rides too you can always get the kind that are "normal" on the flip side.
