Cannot connectsync to Misfit with MyFitnessPal

I am seeing many posts about the issue of syncing to MyFitnessPal from Misfit. Was working and then after first installation then quit. I reinstalled the app and tried to connect MyFitnessPal app and now when I try to connect from the app it takes me to the Misfit web with no way to connect. On the Misfit app I have connected the MyFitnessPal from "Me-Settings(gear icon)-Apps-MyFitnessPal. MyFitnessPal still reporting no connection.
Also, Misfit is working properly as I see steps updated and does sync them to Virgin Pulse.
Any ideas?
