I was asked to consider the assistant compliance officer position. Maybe if I was younger but I am looking at this job in a totally different light. I am a care giver and I go to my job and it is my happy place. I do not see myself retiring any time soon. The woman in charge and I are close in age and she is calling it quits soon. Tis best to love your job and be content. I am going to go in and tell them no.11

Exhausting day. VERY busy at work with back to back meetings as well as tailing up Sydney work. Only just got enough time to get a quick bite for lunch before flying home.

Exercize: 1h10 run + 1h10 hike
The rest are passes. Pass #3 for me.
I'm away from home and won't be back until late on Monday, in the mean time my dog is dying.
Yeah I know she's old and I also know she's my parents' dog not mine, to be precise.
And I'm doing what I'm supposed to do here, not mixing private life and business. But...sorry I just don't care of logging food today. I doubt I'll get to see her again, and I knew, or at least I suspected that when I gave her my farewell before leaving but it still sucks.10 -

So sorry to hear about your dog. Yes, definitely sucks. Sending you hugs of comfort!!3 -
Apparently you shouldn't chew gum on the way to your fasting glucose test. I totally didn't think and now I have to do the rest tomorrow instead so another morning of delayed coffee. However my doctor have me permission to train before the test so I don't have to miss two mornings.
Ate well today and Jiu Jitsu tonight. All food logged.
Tomorrow is my friend's birthday so I'm taking her for breakfast (well more like brunch)!5 -
@trimi1104 I volunteer for adopt a pet. We always read the rainbow bridge poem for dogs when ever a beloved friend passes. I have yet to read it as I am usually a blubbering mess and its not even my dog. I find the poem a comforting thought though.6

I forgot to post yesterday...and on my favorite day NSV Day. The fact that I look forward to my self evaluation is a victory. I have moved forward consistently reaching my goals. This month I fit into a whole size smaller jeans! I even got compliments. I keep track of many body markers including weight and again this month I am progressing towards my goals. It feels so good to do the hard work and see the results. I've come to the conclusion that happiness comes from accomplishing what you set out to do.

Exercise? Yes, indoors out of the heat and humidity. 27 minutes low impact aerobics and 5 minutes mild stretching
Calories? Under by a good margin...need to make up for that milkshake yesterday!
Tracked? Everything logged
@trimi1104 Unfortunate to have to deal with the emotional stress of a failing pet. They are loyal companions unconditionally devoted to those who care for them. Always difficult to say goodbye. Hugs to you.5 -
Well yes x1 only today. I tracked everything, was only somewhat active (gardening, picking tons of blackberries) and went overt on eating. Pass day #2.5

Staying away from home (again) and the M&M's they leave out did me in tonight. I will have more willpower tomorrow.
Looking on the bright side we had NSV's yesterday so it is about balance and being in it for the long haul.
@trimi1104 I have a little precious older dog (She's 14) that was my mom's. I have her now my mom is gone. I love her more than words can possibly express. My heart goes out to you. Our furry friends bring so much joy.4 -

trimi - I also recommend the Rainbow Bridge poem along with @2020pinktogo. It was given to me by our vet when our cat passed several tears ago and now I always send it to friends. Sad times. Lots of love.3 -

Losing a dog is rough. It's sometimes even more painful when they're old, because they've been a part of your life for so long. Be easy on yourself while you go through this. I'm sorry for your loss.3 -
Yes x 3
I actually at decently. I've been such a slacker, eating nasty unhealthy food, and always being hungry. I made an effort to eat nutritious food yesterday, and it actually kept me full and under goal. I did squats, bench and balancing exercises at the gym.5 -
