The bottom line in weight loss is to combine both exercise and eat fewer calories. Exercise alone is not as important as a the amount and type of food & beverages that we consume.
Eat thoughtfully...it's a UAC foundational principle.

Good company, good food, great evening. Great to catch up after such a long time.
Unfortunately looks like another 2 weeks with travel to Sydney. Only 3 days a week, but still not the time at home I would have liked. Must do what the work requires.
@RangerRickL. So true. You cannot out-exercise a bad diet. I've seen many people try and fail at that trick.

Im on the penultimate week of c25k now and jogging for 28mins. The final week has you jogging for 30 mins. It's a huge jump from week 1 where you alternate walking and jogging for a maximum of one minute. I'm still so slow but am feeling proud I've stuck with it.9 -

Pass day #1 for August 9th tracked but over by 250 calories and didn't exercise, one of those days - happy I didn't go over by more!
@RangerRickL yes I've been one of those people who's exercised 15+ hours per week and managed to gain weight - good quality food and enough sleep are the keys for me.

Exercise: 100 min on the treadmill at a moderate pace. Treated myself to a movie so it didnt feel like exercise but kept my heart rate around 70%.

I am proclaiming Pass Day # 1 and declare myself out of the Winner's Circle for August with successive pass days for the next week. Grandma & Grandpa like to travel and one of our sons invited us to the Adirondacks to do some hiking. Headed out to join him and 2 of our grandchildren for the weekend...and will then go on to our camp in New Hampshire for the week. No wifi or broadband at camp so I won't be checking in for the next week to 10 days.

I've eaten out last 2 nights. Stayed on budget but have felt way too full! I like my home healthy meals much better.

Almost took a pass because I didn't feel like tracking. But then I was curious if the day came out ok so I tracked it all anyhow. No more pass day needed! Came out under calories and got good exercise doing horse chores and practicing.7

MFP said 250 under. But when I started writing this remembered I had 1/2 cup ice cream so barley.

Glad I was able to still be in range with the ice cream. You should have seen everybody else's bowl. This challenge helps me stay on the straight and narrow. Sometimes I think people feel sorry for me when I don't overindulge. Feeling great and getting into my small clothes is worth sacrifices. Saw a picture of me last year about this time. The extra 20 lbs really showed. So a win for me.6 -
