FitBit or MFP Calories

Ok, just a simple questions; Do you go by your MFP calories left for the day (the ones in the green) or do you go by what FitBit shows as an amount you are still able to eat? It shows in MFP I have like 800 left to eat, and FB shows I am over by 158, I am super confused. They are both set to sedentary, as I work at a desk and dont get off my butt much and I only let FB do the logging by my steps, no other exercise is ever logged..

I sync my Fitbit to MFP and then go by MFP's calorie recommendations. I ignore what the Fitbit is saying I should eat.

Sedentary doesn't mean the same on both systems.

Sedentary on Fitbit is barely above BMR, basically awake and non-moving all day long. So it's estimate for calorie burn to the end of the day is only correct if you'll be sleeping rest the day.

Sedentary on MFP is much higher, so it's estimate to end of day is higher and potentially more correct.

This all depends on when you look at the estimates of eating goal.

    11 am, or 11 pm.
