Connecting an old aria to a new account?

Give me a hammer and I can build you anything, give me a spatula and I'll keep you fed but put me in the same room with electronics and I need an antipsychotic.
I bought a aria a few years back and had it connected to a different account. Is my aria too old? Do I need to do a factory reset? This thing is making me nuts. But I really want to keep track of body fat as my actual weight doesn't bother me nearly as much as the fat. Anyone willing to be patient with a crazy lady to get this scale connected?
