Good Morning BBB.
Heading back home today. Direct flight from Dublin to Chicago gets us in about 6:30pm - in time to pick up Jack and settle in a bit and hit the hay.

It's August! This is my oldest daughter's b-day month, my bff's b-day month, and the month that we're doing our annual leader gathering. This year we're meeting in Cleveland. Cleveland is gonna ROCK!
It's also another week of completely amazing meetings! Wow ... the last 2 have blown me away with their depth and emotion. 4 more today, and here I go!

HJ is still on my *kitten* list. The sharpie marker tattoo of "I Like Big Dogs and I Cannot Lie" is nearly gone - but a constant reminder that he's much more dextrous than we thought! No opposable thumbs my a&&!
Got some sleep, thank Doc! Still dragging. Busy every waking minute. I am not joking....I spent more time arguing with idiots from DirectTV over the past week to close out my DFIL account than I did combined with all other accounts and insurances! DTV needs to be reported to the regulatory commission! INSIDIOUS! I think I got it taken care of - after dropping a few "F" bombs along the way!

First rule of canceling entrenched services like Dish is to kill the credit card they're attached to. It makes it much easier to get what you want.
So, Cleveland, huh? I think my invite must have been misplaced. I've wanted to take Cecilia there for a while, but she doesn't like road trips longer than 3-4 hours.0 -

I was well through a rant here, opened a window to check the spelling of a word, and closed the entire rant. I lack the energy to type it again. At any rate. The park where I fish was gated up when I got there, after an hour drive. I had to drive home without fishing. I registered my complaint with the state parks office. We'll see if I hear back from them.
Follow-up with my hand surgeon, this morning. I will complain about my lack of progress and he will tell me that I am within normal parameters. Sigh.1 -

- My major accomplishment was getting the oil changed in the car yesterday. Turned out due to some promotion at the dealer it was free. Who can argue with that.
- DW and I finished season 7 of Suits last night. We are caught up.
- I've been to Cleveland. Been there, done that, turned down the t-shirt.
- Dave, I would have been frustrated too. I hope your next fishing trip is grand.
- What is it about subscription entertainment services that don't understand the word 'no'?

Supposedly we are finally going to get internet lines here, they are marking subdivision for digging. Currently we have phone through ATT, internet through Dish and TV through Direct; we are paying a fortune since there is not way to bundle and no one offers competition.
Mary, sounds as China vendor knows what is coming long term; I would hold payment for rework,
Lisa, always so positive and up beat, Love it!
Steve, another month-end, plus is hopefully you are getting some help that will not be working against you.
Grandkids are back in school, house is quite, now maybe we can get it cleaned up; issue is we still have DMIL; Skip knows what we are dealing with.

Aug 1 already???!!!
Took me 4 months, with over 10 calls to Pakistan and or India and finally - 2 in person visits by me last week, to the local AT&T brick/mortar bldg. to get a $90 credit on my 15 year old AT&T account, they blamed the Direct T.V. portion of our bundle. I likely will drop AT&T just because they too have farmed their customer no service out of the country. POTUS should make these American Fortune 500 companies move their customer no service depts. back to the USA - the USA bank credit card companies too, or take big hits and penalties. Since they've gotten rich from American consumers hard earned American dollars, and American stock markets! keep the call centers and work in America, lol! rant over.

Im getting excited for the weekend surprise party for ds2 Im hosting! The menu is buffalo sauce themed. His fav! SO & I cleaned the garage last night, in case of rain, we move the party into garage, right Sam?!!!

I hardly have had the t.v. on even for the news. Im trying to finish a book I've renewed once already due in early July, and its due again 8/3, may have to renew it again, if I can.
