    Good Morning BBB.
We hit the ground running yesterday - both of us got a ton done and Tom even had energy to go out and have a few beers with the guys :p
Lee - so sorry about your sister. Sad.
Mary - I bet it’s good to have your son home.
    Do good out there everyone.

    Morning~

You ever get that perfect cup of Joe? Perfect temperature; perfect ratio of cream and sugar? Today is that day! The universe is saying "....its gonna be a good day, Skippy."

DS home means DM is doing laundry

No plans yet for tonight. Rain forecasted. So we'll see.

Glad you are all back! HJ must be thrilled. Some photo's of the gang that conspired to help HJ tattoo my *kitten* with a sharpie. They might look cute - but they're far from innocent!

    Mornin' BBB.

DW makes me a perfect cup of joe every day, Skip.

Thunder storms last night. Tess needed assurance.

Tis sad, Raine. BBB has given me lots of things to think about and some things to investigate. Its never too late.

Received the AARP bonus issue yesterday. What?! When did I become a member?

Good your DS is home, Mary. It is a real *kitten* storm in Columbus.

Muggy today after heavy deluge yesterday and last night.

Had my garden's first heirloom beefsteak tomato BLT last night. DW has trained me to use the gas grill outdoors for most all summer cooking. Did the bacon in a cast iron grill pan on gas grill low heat with cover closed...much like cooking bacon in the oven. Came out perfect. Used the Flax seed pitas for bread with low fat mayo. YUM.

    BBB OP ;-)

    Good morning BBB friends.

Sorry I didn't weigh in on your sister's situation, Lee. I am not good with things like that. I do hope she finds a better way forward.

I have a cast iron griddle I use on my gas grill, Lee. Haven't tried bacon on it. I will give it a try the next time the grandkids stay over.

Heading out fishing - again - this morning.

Happy birthday to your mom, Kelly! Have FUN!
Now I need to make bacon on the grill. I'll bet it smells intoxicating!
    Love Etta's shades!

I am almost done with the banner! I'll post a pic soon. The best feature is one that Dh added. Our nephew is an accomplished sax player, and just got home from another European tour with a fine arts camp that he's played with throughout high school. So, I asked Jim to design (on CAD) and cut a 24" metal saxaphone for this. It came out PERFECT! I can see our nephew using it as a dorm decoration in the future. I will say that it was different doing a banner for a boy ... I've done MANY for girls and for weddings, but nothing that is more masculine and does not include flowers. I like how its turned out, though!

Date night tonight, then up north for the party tomorrow. I was up late last night for a number of reasons, but the final one was that I received a message that a friend of mine had passed away. He was ready ... in his 90's, on his 4th round of cancer, and he'd decided to let it run its course this time. He was such a beautiful, eloquent, insightful, delightful man! I'll miss him, but I am confident that I'll see him again one day. He left a pretty incredible legacy on this earth who will keep his spirit alive here in the meantime.

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • Geesh, I guess there's a storm brewing over OSU.
    • Happy Birthday to Kelly's DM.
    • My Weber grill came with a cast iron skillet I've never used. I guess this is a challenge.
    • Heading up to the VA this morning. I get my new hearing aids today.

    Catch a few Dave!

Big weekend here about to roll out... first with grilling some butcher made chicken sausages, italian sausages, jalapeno cheddar brats for the Brewers game tonite. 22 of us meeting up at 4pm for pregame shinnagins.

Suppose to be hot humid for our surprise party Saturday. Hope ds2 has fun! I bought the family a custom designed Packers bag game, so we can break that in. The menu is buffalo sauce themed. DS2s fav.

    Be safe be happy BBB

    Good morning.

Today is Cecilia's birthday, so I woke her up at butt-thirty to take her to the city for French toast at a place she adores followed by passport renewal and shopping on her own.

Wow Skip now I need my ar$e with tats on it to compete. I did do a temp hot chili pepper on my arm once. A T.rex riding a bicycle would be nice too.
•Glad your son is home Mary!!
•Oh Dave and Lee I think curing a cast iron skillet with bacon fat is "the only way to go". Or was how I learned anyway. I do that and just boil water in it to clean it and wipe it out. Glad you got a great beefsteak tomato!!
    Hey be good! Enjoy !

It's 10:30 a.m. and I am already home with a limit of trout. That was almost too quick. I enjoy sitting at the lake, reading a book. I got very little reading time in; the fish kept biting. Guess I'll head out to the shop for a while.

    Love the banner, Lisa.

    hi all.

home late last night so slept in a bit. Ron was home from work today (had a minor mishap on his bike last night and have sore thumbs from a quick descent down a bank while in the drop bars) catching up on office work today plus hit the local store and the distribution center.

No big plans this weekend and fly out Sunday afternoon for Indianan.

Super fun banner Lisa...you letter are so perfect? DO you have a machine to cut them?
