Very disappointing meeting last night. We have patriots who are interested in playing patriotic until pressed to action - only to regress to childish antics. 'Tis what it 'tis. Interesting these are the people that rarely show up for our events anyway....

Mornin' BBB.
Saw the Rheumatologist yesterday. Ordered more blood work, more xrays and an MRI of my persistently swollen wrist. Offered to start me on gout medication even though my uric acid levels are non existent, and there were no crystals in my joint fluid. I thought maybe we should see what the xrays and MRI say before doing a trial of gout medication (colchicine). Right now I'm doing OK on just ibuprofen (Dave calls Ranger Candy).
Raine, ever consider leasing? Obviously, to be an absentee landlord you would need hire a property management company. Just a thought. We did it with our first house when the market went south. Although the market never did recover and we eventually sold the house for what we could have sold it for originally, our buyer was our last lease. We got a tax write off while we were leasing and also allowed us to get out from underwater on the mortgage (not that being underwater is your problem).

Reviewing a motion this morning prepared by the DC attorneys to present to the judge to finally get we Special Masters paid in the damages litigation against the Islamic Republic of Iran for the 1983 bombing of the Marine’s barracks in Beirut. I’ll have to edit and maybe redraft. Long time coming - I finished my work a decade ago.
Showing today and cleaning lady comes tomorrow so I’ll be doing my white tornado thing to prep.
Jack on treadmill while Tom works out so I get to have a peaceful cup of coffee. Supposed to be a beautiful day.
I never did make it to the farm stand the other day for fresh corn and tomatoes. Hopefully soon.
Lee - we can’t lease it out for financial reasons, for maintenance reasons, and this market in Illinois is not improving any time soon so we just have to stop the bleeding.
Bill - it’s the same everywhere - a few complain and try to co troll the majority even though they participate very little.
Mary - we are looking forward to living in our RV - it’s an adventure as we have absolutely no plans and we will go with the flow as far as permanent living accommodations.
Sam - how goes it?

Short night after getting to hotel at 11 then migraine had me up from 4-5 and alarm at 6. Oh well. Executives flying in today to check on our progress. I think we are in good position to open next week. Hope they do.0 -

Good morning BBB crew.
Great photo Kelly and Steph. Too bad I live so far from the rest of you. Our physical paths are unlikely to cross.
The only groups I participate in are my woodturning club and the church choir, Skip. Little room for controversy in either. I'm too old to put up with the aggravation.
Meeting DS for lunch today. He picks the place, I pick up the tab, even thougfh he is the well-paid engineer and I am the fixed income retiree. Rolls are hard to change.
