Inorder to be successfully you’ll need measuring tools.
-a measuring cups a table scoop -> a cup
( used for most of our foods groups, especially when the serving size calls for 1/2 or 1/4 cup or table spoon, examples will be nuts, rice, pastas, veggies, some fruits)
- A food scale
( generally will be used for meat. Example steak, any kind of fish, chicken, etc. you want to weight it after you cook it.)
- food that are a whole unit, like a hamburger patty, or an apple, orange or a banana. The serving size is usually the while unit, so you can avoid measuring unless you’re like me and what everything exact :)
