    Morning~

Was up - just had to go to TWO SBUX to get Blonde Roast. #FWP! (first world problems)

Gonna be a nice day - hoping to get in some pool time and then nice b/day dinner for DW tonight at a favorite place called Eddie V's.....

Whats on tap for everyone's weekend? BBB Lake Party in WI would be fun! You ain't lived until you've seen Happy Jack lead a conga line! Not many guys can pull off a hula skirt - Jack is the exception! (I've probably said too much).

    CBL!

    Good morning.

Meeting took up every bit of the day yesterday plus overtime (dinner with the Springfield folks). I got home at 945 and I'm back on the train at my usual time. We did have Drink Tank last night though. Meeting continues this morning.

I can totally pull off the hula skirt, Skip. It's the coconut shell bra that won't seem to stay up.

    Good morning BBB friends.

Now I have an image in my head of Baloo, the bear, from Disney's "Jungle Book" (the animated classic, not the newer one).

DW made her pot roast yesterday, which made the whole house smell great. I curbed my appetite well, too, with one small plate. I did less well with the warm, crusty bread that accompanied it. I'm a sucker for fresh bread.

    Mornin' BBB.

Leaky pipe in Master bath. Ugh.

Baloo the bear! Ha! Pot roast sounds really good.

LONG day training yesterday, got home at 6 PM, then mowed lawn.

Rewarded myself with a gin and diet tonic and a pita BLT.

    Good Morning BBB.
I thought I posted yesterday but. Guess not. Oy.
Showing today at 10am - I had planned to take a walk with Jack during the showing but it’s supposed to rain so we will make other plans.
Sam - fingers crossed for the tests you did Wednesday. I wish we lived closer the I could take you yoga class. How was you day with DW?
Lee - I know the feeling. So glad you toasted a life well lived! AB will do great. She is in her prime.
Mary - no HD Anniversary escapades for us - too crazy. Many people we know still drive up to participate but not us.
Steph - congrats to Ron - it will all work out.
Kelly - it’s good that you were there to help the neighbor.
Lisa - did you find the password?
David - I’m with you - I may not be a spring chicken but I get around better than most that are half my age!
Lou - I bet a hula skirt and coconuts look fabulous on you!
    Do good out there everyone.

    Morning gang

Drove home yesterday afternoon in rain most of the way but got home by 5:30 so that was good. Working from home for a few hours today then taking the rest of the day off as earned time from working weekends while in Indiana.

Ron's work friends are having a going away party for him tonight and not much planned for tomorrow except dinner with friends. Sunday is a supported bike ride. I"ll probably do the 39 instead of the 65 I registered for since I haven't had much riding time in this month. We will see how it goes. I don't have to decided until mile 20 when either turn to loop back to the start or keep going to the next town.

Sunday is a reunion dinner for the Younkers crowd...former co-workers for the company I worked for for 20 years that is bankrupt and closing all location as of the end of the month.

Then to Wichita Kansas on Monday for the week. I think Ron plans to go with me to get another state crossed off his biking list.

    Have a great weekend all.

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • I have a work day at church tomorrow. Just catching up on the maintenance list.
    • You did good Kelly. I hope she is okay.
    • Skip, with your passion for blondes you probably would have liked one of the selections at the microbrewery Tuesday.

Steph, I've been to every state (not on a bike) except North Dakota. I've got to find an opportunity / reason to go there.

If SBUX would put this Siren on the cups - it would make mornings much more enjoyable

Dennis, Teddy Roosevelt said if it weren't for his experiences North Dakota, he'd never been the POTUS.
Its also home to the World's Largest Buffalo monument, which stands tall on the hill in Jamestown, ND
Then theres Fargo ;) Need I say more?

Glad heart test is a okay Sam! Have a restful weekend.

We changed plans and decided to stay at the homefront this weekend. I'll be at lake 4 nights with the kids next weekend! I'll head over to ds2's softball game tonite, and then work in my home gardens and start the transitions to fall. Also have a MBA grad party for my nephew on Sat. night.

I don't get into these IPA's and micro brews, but they sure do have great names and graphics.

The hot thing around here for a lower cal cocktail are the spiked seltzer water drinks, Truly, Smirnoff, etc.

I closed the deal on a huge order yesterday that likely pushed my layoff date out a few months, maybe? I this point Im taking every paycheck here I can get. Then take the layoff unemployment $$ and move on from there.

    TGIF

    Be safe, be happy BBB
