Another mom & mom to be made me think of this earlier. She mentioned she is still wearing her rings & I thought, wow me too! My last pregnancy I was 35-40lbs lighter & still couldn't wear my rings at all after 20 weeks, maybe earlier. My water intake was crap & my exercise was non existant. This time I am drinking more water & do prenatal yoga. I also think about exercise a lot which doesn't sound like anything but I try to work in extra movement in my pretty sedentary day. My last pregnancy I was really depressed & stressed-miserable. This time I started pretty stressed about my weight but once I actually starting logging food I'm doing OK. Even starting out heavier. I also think my daughter helps me be happy. :-) I'm eating pretty healthy & trying to prepare mentally & physically for a VBAC. This group really helps too! How are your pregnancies different?

Great post idea! I too was able to keep my rings on this time, and I also never reached my starting weight from when I joined MFP. So I was lighter at 9 months pregnant than I was a year before getting pregnant
I ate much better, watched my sodium intake, drank a ton of water. I was much better emotionally and spiritually. All around so much better
Now I have a beautiful (lighter) baby girl!

With my first, I gained 50 lbs and I was HUGE all over the place!! With my second, I gained 50 lbs again but it wasn't as bad all over the place. I craved sweets with both of them. With my third, I also gained 50 lbs but was much more active due to hubby and I building a house. I craved anything meat and potatoes, which probably didn't help...lol...with this pregnancy, I'm starting out 40 lbs lighter than before and I'm 25 weeks 1 day and I've gained about 24 lbs so far. I'm trying to walk at least 20 min per day and I'm trying to watch my calorie intake, though I crave sweets every now and again. I've got a love affair with salt this time, so I have to watch that intake. I'm hoping to stay away from the 50 lb mark this time, but only time will tell!!! My boys are 9, 7, and 2....0

My pregnancies were really spread out - I had the first at 19 and started out underweight, the second at 31 at a healthy weight, and this time around I'm going to be 40 (next week) and I started out pretty fit and at a good weight. I also have no thyroid this time, which wasn't an issue with the first 2.
However, this is the first pregnancy that I really focused on fitness and healthy eating with. I've never been a particularly unhealthy eater, but I also didn't track calories before or focus on clean foods like I do now. And I hardly drank any water. Except for the occasional walk, I also didn't do any exercise with the first two! This time around I expected to gain more weight (because of age and thyroid), but I've been really pleased to see that I've stayed right in the middle of the healthy weight gain range and should end up gaining less than I did in the past. I also haven't gained weight in my "trouble spots" like I did previously. I work out at least 3 times a week - 25 minutes of cardio plus 25 minutes of strength. AND, for the first time, I passed the 1 hour glucose test! Every OB appointment I've been to the nurses and doctors have commented on my health, level of fitness, and perfect lab work. I also feel stronger, have more energy, and my skin has stayed clear throughout the pregnancy (I'm 31 weeks). The back pain and sciatica I had previously is almost non-existent with this one. I was worried about how my body would handle pregnancy at this age, but honestly? I feel great!0
