I'm up early again for a meeting I'm subbing before my regular one. Happy Thursday!
Thank you to you guys who know guys, and Dennis who knows guys who know guys. While I'm very tempted myself, I remind myself that he will always be Anabelle's daddy, even with all his faults. Sheesh, this is complicated! We've never had a divorce on either side of our families (well, with cousins there have been, but we weren't close), so it's all new territory to us. The meeting with the lawyer went quite well. Dd27 is pretty worried about how he's going to flip when he sees the amount of child support ... and that's still going with a court minimum based on his info. You play, you pay.
I love Henry for a new pup! Great name!!! I am looking forward to seeing pics and videos.

Sam, you need DM's approval to take time off? I've never heard of that. Who's your DM? Whenever I get that message about eTools (which happens every 3 years, fyi), I just forward it to my TM and she gets it updated. I had it happen about 2 months ago, so now I'm set for another while.
Speaking of WW, this week's meetings about the tools have been super-packed with great info! I've been talking more than usual (given the nature of the topic, and I'm pretty strong on both the website and the app from working chat), which gave me a scratchy throat last night for the first time in years. It's a nice switchup from the deeper topics, I think (although I love those!).
To all those who've mentioned wanting to lose weight with me, I started a thread. If you meant it, join in. Let's DO THIS! I had another day of under 20 SP yesterday. Woot!

Another 100+ in store for us today....
County is making the builder rip out the stone chimney and start over. They didn't have a permit plan and modified engineering report. The options were to drill holes every 10 feet to inspect or rip it off and start again. OUCH!
Raine - its an offer - just not a great offer! Hope you can get them to give you something better (cleaner).
Sam - hope you are looking forward to the excursion!

Kelly we will be in Clarksville Sept 16-18 and Madison on the 19. Will probably try to get started on the drive home on the 20th, maybe staying in Indy. Let me know when you are free and we can meet up. I shouldn't have to work as late this trip so will likely be off work by 5:30 each night.

Grass cut and edged, hair cut, picked up travel iron from store a couple of towns over, clothes laying on bed. Had planned on starting to pack bag but DW decided bedroom needs a through cleaning before we go! WHY? I'll bet DMIL has house in shambles where we cannot find anything when we return.
Over on Dennis's side of lake yesterday, DMIL wanted wings and margarita; I limited myself to 6 wings, salad and water.
Raine, could give them 24 hour first right of refusal but keep house on market.
I can't understand why county did not pickup fireplace on final inspection, but then we do not know who builder knows.
Lisa, sometimes when one gets a visit from someone it causes a dramatic attitude change.
We are not allowed to sub more than 25 miles out therefore there are only two meetings I could do.

Builder got caught with their knickers around their ankles. I suspect that is exactly what occurred. The inspector who came out rang them up over the chimney and the foundation modification..... Needless to say - its getting done right, now.
I've sadly seen the slippery side of construction. I am convinced they're all on the take somehow....there are kickbacks on the kickbacks. Its pretty sickening.

Had to read back a couple days but I'm caught up...
Ive been swamped at work trying to sell inventory and get some quick cash at net 30 for some extended payroll. I'd like to continue to work until as long as possible.
They should make it as hard to get married as they do to get divorced... I could write a book.

We're getting some yard work and garden Work done, grass cut tonight, headed to the camper this weekend just the two of us. We're going to go to the casino about a half hour away and then out to a nice dinner on Saturday. If you've never experienced a Wisconsin Supper Club put it on your list of great things to do ....
We have reservations at the Dirty Oar in Nekoosa. Then Home early Sun. A.M.
Rain cleared here, temperature 70's, Sunshine for the next 8 days. So many folks need to dry out...
