    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • Did everyone sleep in this morning?
    • Maybe everyone got up early and is out and about.
    • I'm in the first category. Stayed up way too late watching the Braves win a game out in San Francisco.
    • Now I have things to do.
    • Have a great day. Oh, WI went well yesterday.

    Good Morning BBB

    Beautiful weather here in Wisc. I got my porch decorated for fall and containers replanted, the mosquitos are horrific here from all that rain last week! yikes

    Our Family and friends in NC about 1hr drive inland from coast says they are ready as they can be for Florence. Some are staying put. But My niece, her husband and 4 girls ages 1yo - 9yo, 2 dogs hit the road yesterday to drive to his uncles in Florida for a few days. She said she could not imagine being without power with her crew. Odd they are heading to Florida to get away from hurricane, leave it to mother nature. Hope Florence fizzles out and they are wrong about severity.

    Well, I am back again. Glad I'm not the only one who saw a post vanish.

    Saw my hand surgeon today: nothing to say, but that it takes time. He observed that I place greater demands on the surgical site than the elderly women on whom they typically perform the procedure. Then we got into a discussion of wood turning and I invited him to our club meeting next month.

    Yes..... We traded emails last week. He and Connie were ramping up for a MADD event. They're still trying to help DS get through a rough patch. I invited him to join us here at BBB and we missed them. He passed on hello to everyone.....

    I didn't even share what procedure they were going to try on my uncle today. That might have been poof-worthy for the squeamish, I suppose.

    So, I'm definitely sick. And twisted. But, definitely sick. I burned through a whole box of tissue today at work. 😢
