    Good Morning!

Great shot Mike. I forgot how beautiful it is up there. 2lb loss too!

We had a nice full evening shower. It is nice to see and hear the rainy season start up. It should be a quiet day here with no work scheduled so I can put some things back in place and get out of the house a bit. Plumbing & electrical inspection was a 5 minute affair. Dry wall is up, tape & texture happen on Friday. Probably paint on Sunday. Tile starts on Tuesday. I am getting an education in dealing with contractors.

    Mornin'

Unpacking one bag at a time after this camping trip. Yesterday rinsed tent in tub and got 2 cups of sand, even after I'd rinsed it at the campsite in the lake. Never setting up right on a beach again... Tent zipper came apart also, probably from sand, but cleaned with a toothbrush and tightened the zipper-pull and it works like new again. Piles of laundry today.

Sun coming out and a pleasant 65°.

Besides all the work involved in camping, and the paddling and hiking I did, I packed meals that were reasonably healthy--high fibre, no sugar, some dried veges and fruit, lots of protein, and olive oil added into each supper. Last time my buddy Dave brought apple pie, cookies, brownies, banana bread, pancake syrup... I gained 5 lbs. I told him this time I couldn't eat any of that.

    Have a great one today!

Figured I'd throw in another picture of Flagstaff Lake. No houses on the lake and tons of wildlife there, but no pics of that... Three moose on the opposite shore, loons, a weasel that nabbed a chipmunk, ducks (Lee, a big duck hunting area, and grouse season just opened.) Worst wildlife encounter was a mouse that got in my car and ate Dave's cookies. Bought some traps and caught two mice. Then one of the traps with the mouse still in it disappeared when Dave left it beside the car unattended for a minute. Who knows what came and got it.

    Good morning gentlemen.

Love the accounts of the Maine adventure, Mike. Times spent outdors are the best times, for me.

Going to be sunny and 60 today. Running around with DW most of the day, the choir practice this evening

Great photos of camp area, Mike. Believe it or not, guys have been posting photos of the grouse taken this early part of the season. This time of the season the birds are usually flushing out of the trees and very hard to see well enough to get a shot.

Probably not going to get a grouse hunt in this year. Oh well.

    Such a beautiful spot.

    Good day dog training.

    Be OP ;-)
