It was a good weekend. Dd22 got her first brand new car (a Jeep Compass), we had a great date night, my study at the rehab house was challenging in a good way, and music went well last night at the service.
Raine, I'm SO praying for you that you can unload that house.

Good morning BBB friends.
The ribs were very good, the pie just so-so. Fun - as always - having DS and family over for the evening. Don't understand why the kitchen ends up looking like such a disaster whenever we have anyone for dinner, though.
Running some errands this morning, then packing, printing boarding passes, etc., this afternoon. We have to leave early for the airport tomorrow. It isn't that long a drive, but there is a high likelihood of traffic issues. The 45-mile drive usually takes an hour and a half on a weekday morning. It will be less than an hour on the drive home Friday night.0 -

Fog and rain here. We were going to do the 3D photoshoot but rescheduling for later in the week when the weather may be better.
3 showings over the weekend - we think the showing on Sunday, which was the third, was a second showing from Saturday but our agent is reaching out to confirm as it was Redfin.
Lisa - so proud of your DD with all her accomplishments this year.
David - pie can be a fickle mistress.
Bill - glad you had a good time with your buddies at Dover.

Thought we had 2 DGKs today but DDIL is off today, will have them rest of week and Monday next week.
Been to gym and trimmed shrubs south side of house,
Cloudy off and on today and much cooler not suppose to get over 89, they do claim we will get rain this week.
Fingers crossed on house sale in IL.

Just coming up for air! Got most of my work caught up.....
Opened up email this morning and got tagged for random drug screen (they give you two hours after notification to report to lab). Ugh.... Just a pain to add that to my hectic schedule today!
O'Henry stories make me laugh. Did DS tests go well for DEA/CBP? What's next?

Hi all. Late night so didn’t get out of bed in time to check in before heading out
Ron got a call from his cousin Sunday evening that his uncle was unresponsive and on a ventilator. We picked up his daughter at the bus station at 1:30 am (she is in college at Iowa state) and then ron dropped her off this morning with her uncle to catch a ride to meet the family at the hospital in central Nebraska. I assume a funeral will be forthcoming. He is 80ish with severe diabetes and early onset Alzheimer’s so probably a blessing but still hard to deal with.

Going tpo be a long day. Up at 5, out the door at 6, land in Vegas at 1:30. Have tickets to "Ka" at 9:30 tonight. We'll get back to our hotel around midnight.
