New to Fitbit and Confused

I wasn’t planning on getting one, but I ended up receiving one and therefore couldn’t research it beforehand so I am brand new to having a Fitbit. After trying to research some things about it online since I got it I am unsure of exactly how the calories burned on the Fitbit calculates with MFP. I have a few questions if anyone is familiar with the Fitbit and can help me out.

(If these questions are confusing I apologize. I am just very lost. The more I looked it up online the more I found people either arguing about what it meant or more people answering questions with “I don’t know either”)

I am 5’10, 199 pounds. 35 years old. I have MFP set for 1,960 calories per day. As of right now the Fitbit says I have burned 1,392 calories so far today. I realize many of these are calories your body burns by basically just being alive and doing what it does all day. Some are also through sleep, but how does that work as far as the MFP count? I have them synced but in MFP it just says “18 calories” from the device. Not sure how it comes up with that number. Yesterday I had 25 calories to go at the end of the day so that’d be 1,935 consumed and the Fitbit said 3,254 burned through the day. On MFP it registered the device as “60 calories” burned.

It seems to reset every night at midnight so from 12:00AM-10:05AM it also says I have walked a total of 1.17 miles and 2602 steps. Is this supposed to be an exact count because I would be surprised if I have walked that much already or is it somewhat of an assumption based on where you should be by that time?

Is the calorie count accurate during exercise? MFP says that in 30 mins of kickboxing I burn 325 calories. While wearing the Fitbit the other day I did 40 minutes and the Fitbit came out with 850 calories. Is the 850 accurate or do I average them out?
