    Good Morning BBB.
Crisp, sunny, fall morning here. Leaves are all turning.
A young couple that I’ve known since before they got married came to see the house yesterday and fell in love with it. I’ll follow up with them today. It would be perfect for them and their two sons. Fingers crossed.
Sam – I’ll call you Monday after 10 AM your time.
Mary - nice job getting the camper winterized. Perfect timing. Go Brewers!
David - how is the hand?
    Kelly - DS update please.
    Do good out there everyone.

    Good Morning!

Raine, I hope that this is the day you finally get the contract!

Cold and wet here in Kansas

Lee, you are a hero in my eyes. I know that you had a very tough week. I'll include you and the family of your friend that you lost this week in prayer.

    Go Chiefs!

    Good morning BBB friends.

    Fingers crossed, Raine.

Great weather here, too. A bit of frost on the front yard, sunny - going to be 65 this afternoon.

Singing at church this morning, rather than watching the Seahawks game, which comes on just as the choir is warming up. Had a lot of fun watching the Ducks beat the Huskies, yesterday.

    Morning~

    Raine - LOVE the photo....

Where are all the cool kids? Did they start their own Royal Order Club without us? Hmmmm

Spectacular night at a neighborhood block party where every guy in attendance had back yard envy! These people had a heated saltwater pool; outdoor kitchen; TWO fireplaces and canopy decks; amazing! Live band playing 70's/80's - it was pretty good despite the 50"s temps!

Today is grading papers and watching Nascar.

    CBL.

Good freezing morning here. Colors are peak, The drive back from lake was beautiful, the farms with fall color backdrop, some tractors working in the fields was picture perfect. Roadside pumpkins, too!

Chili is in the slow cooker already. And coffee is hot !

This sounds like good news Raine!

Brewers go to LA, October baseball is the best!

    Good Morning,
Back into 80's today, fall was short lived,
They claim we will see fall colors by end of October though some leaves already fell due to lack of rain,
For those that envy backyard, do they also envy cost and work required to keep that yard up; been there done that; a place can own you instead of you owning it. Reason we downsized 14 years ago then again 2 years ago, But they are beautiful and impressive.
Mary seven months will pass before you realize it.
Sounds as DW ready, off to get religious.
    Enjoy the Day,
    Sam I am

Raine, that photo looks so serene and beautiful! I am really hoping this one goes through with that couple.

Lee, I'm sending you a big hug. I hope you're getting some much-needed rejuvenation this weekend.

Sing your little heart out, Dave! I'll be doing that at tonight's service, too. We're doing some old favorites this week ... I Am Free, Resurrection Power (that one's not old), Come to the Table, and Here I Am to Worship. I'll always remember about 15 years ago hearing that last one at a funeral, and realizing how POWERFUL that concept was. No matter the circumstance, true, heartfelt, authentic worship is always the most beautiful, healing response.

How is it your colors are peak, Mary? Ours aren't even halfway yet. Huh. Weird. I did see that a friend of mine in Minnesota posted a pic of snow this morning. Glad that's not us!

Skip, that yard sounds awesome! I'm thinking that if you can afford all that, you can probably also afford a guy to take care of it.

We went to that community theater play last night, and it turned out I knew several of the people! The lead was one of my members, who I specifically went to see. One of the other main roles was one of the RAs at the rehab house, the drummer was one of Jim's cousins' kids, and one of the prop girls was another member of mine. It was cool! And the play itself was completely hilarious ... we laughed so much our cheeks hurt! It was called The 25th Annual Putnum County Spelling Bee, if you ever have the chance to see it.

Sounds like a blast, Lisa! Wish we had community theater here. I was part of ours growing up and had a blast!

My birthday present from SO = weather tec floor mats for my new Escape. And I'm thrilled, seriously! The WI winters reek havoc on a cars interior! I'm too cheap to spend that kind of money on mats for my car! Will be great for the sand at the lake too!

Mary - that beats my 50th birthday present from Tom - a gas powered vertical & horizontal log splitter!

    Good afternoon BBB Friends.
    • I spent the morning running the TV cameras at church.
    • Came home and potted some mums.
    • DW has a nasty heachache so it will be a quiet afternoon.

    Afternoon BBB.

Beautiful day for a trial. Babe was wearing her naughty pants and not listening to the whistle today so we did not get invited to the placement round. The judges were impressed with her retrieves, but not me having to toot my whistle all the time because she was blowing me off.

An older dog at the trial collapsed. They thought she was just fat but it turned out to be a tumor in her abdomen and she collapsed when it started to bleed. I could do nothing but send to the emergency clinic. Praying for a good outcome there.

Thanks Lisa and Steve. I can use all the help I can get.

Am home now, got to mow the lawn. Colors are about one week away from peaking here.

    Good afternoon
Mary likes her birthday gift. IMHO Raine, your gift stunk. My 50th present will be a rowing machine. Ok whatever. DH has been wanting one and no I’m not kidding. Ha.
Lee, the day had to be hard not being able to immediately help the dog. I know your job has to be a tough one.
That yard sounds like my sisters. Yep, they have many people to take care of their stuff. I agree with Sam. Love having it. Hate the upkeep
Mary, I love it. “When it’s rockin don’t bother knockin”. Ha ha ha.
I made potato soup last night. Chicken tortilla today. Cold here. No
    Color on the trees yet.
    I’ll cbl.

If I bought DW a rowing machine for any birthday - it would be the last gift I'd ever have to buy....

    Skin's win!
    Great Nascar race!
Never left basement all day! LOVE IT!
