Porque, Dennis? Why up so early?

Off to pick up DF from airport. Let. the games begin.

The Construction Manager took pictures (agrees with me of course) and has the owner of the asphalt company coming out. You can't make this up! Ugh!! Mary - we had concrete at old hood.

Have a good day. Will try to check in later.

    Mornin' BBB.

Wow. Yesterday blew by. Left house early for dog training, then took Tess bird hunting afterwards until sunset. Got home and it was dark and Tess and I were famished.

Hope you like your new suit, Dennis. I hate loud restaurants.

So glad you and Tom and Jack are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, Raine.

We don't do concrete driveways or streets up here, temperature changes tend to crumble and buckle them. Asphalt tolerates our climate better.

Wishing DW18 a speedy recovery from her kidney infection, Lisa. Bless her heart.

Gonna sic your pappy on your contractors Skip?

Love the photo from your hike, Dave. And the photo of your DW with DGKs and pumpkins is a treasure. Impressed that you all grew those pumpkins in your garden.

Steph, cool that you have a househusband, LOL.

    BBB OP ;-)

Anxious to see photos of the Dapper Dennis with his bride on the cruise!

Thats funny! "....now you're in trouble! My Daddy is here!"

    Good Morning!

Skip, father there or not, sounds like you are thumping those contractors where they need to be thumped. Asphalt is nice, but it does dent and scratch more easily. Looks like careless contractors. Not good on their part.

Dave, the pictures are amazing. Great looking grandkids that you have!

Very glad that today is Friday!

    Have a great day!

    Good Morning BBB.
Looks like we will make a decision soon. Showing today and he will have to decide fast otherwise its down to our friends (known commodity and very responsible couple that cant complete purchase until probably later next year) or the chef (unknown commodity that would buy by May31st) - either way should be out in December!!!!!
Lee - I bet you had the best day with Tess!
Steph - Ron will do a great job with photographer.
    Lou - you are royalty.
Mary - yes, with the toy hauler we will use the “garage” area as a den/office/laundry and we also have the ramp as a back, raised patio. It will be sweet.
Dennis - When do you leave for the cruise?
Lisa - did you give DD18 a hug for me and all of BBB?
    Do good out there everyone.

    I'm back.
    • Woke up in the middle of the night and couldn't get back to sleep so I played on the computer for an hour. Slept well afterwards.
    • Lou, The Crown Prince of Deerfield. Yay, that sounds right.
    • We fly out next Friday. (To all lurkers, the viscious man eating dog and the neighbor with a shotgun and low self-control are staying behind.)
    • Lisa, hoping DD18 is on the mend.
    • Let's sell some houses!

    Good morning BBB friends.

DGKs left after supper, yesterday. The house feels so empty after they leave.

While driving, yesterday, the tire pressure light came on on the dash. Tires look fine. It's probably the sensor, but I needed to get the RAV4 serviced anyway, so I will be spending the morning at the Toyota place, ogling the 2019 models in the showroom, while they take care of my faithful 2008 model.

Last asphalt drive I had was in 1954. We moved in in August and in September saw little bulges form on the surface, followed by morning glories pushing threw the pavement. I'll never forget our amazement.

    Tis Frydee!
    Good Morning,
Read to three elementary classes this morning, funny we can read Halloween stories but not allowed to read Christmas stories in schools.
    Pray DD18 is feeling better,
Bet dentist enjoyed crown, hard to believe what they charge for a crown these days,
I had to get new suit when we went on cruise, mainly because I've gotten so large; but made me think I had not bought a new suit in over 14 years. Have lost some since cruise now have to wear a belt and can remove pants without unfastening.
Dennis, you are going to miss election day! But the circus will go on.
We have already voted, DMIL once again tries to get me in trouble, calling across booths asking who I was voting for and why, poll worker finally ask me if I could help her. DW pretends she does not know us.
Skip, hope you and Dad have a great weekend and tell him Happy Birthday for us. For the record I still believe 70 is young.
    Happy Birthday Tom!!!
Mary, when I go to a concert hearing aids come out and ear plugs go in; don't want hearing getting any worst.
Twas a rainy night in Georgia which continues today.
DMIL was up before 6 this morning, came upstairs turning lights on; we had alarm set for 6:30 since DW had to take DMIL to doctor about 80 miles away. They went ahead and left early, glad I was not going; DW a little ill.
Tomorrow DM from WW will be at meeting; hope I'm not in trouble.
    Enjoy the Day,
    Sam I am

That's sounds awesome Raine, the ones Ive seen are indeed sweet!

    T G I F

Say Hi to Pops with a big Happy Birthday, Skip. Maybe he'll keep you in line this weekend? LOL

We resealed our asphalt drive summer before last, and will do again next spring. Already needs it again, but needed it bad prior to our first seal, likely wasn't done by previous owners since put in in 2010

Steph your ranch is similar to the brick ranch I sold two years ago my grandparents built in '56. What year was your home built? Its nice. Mine wasn't as updated as yours. Good luck!

I got 70 Halloween pencils for the kiddies and will get some chocolate too, man candy is expensive. Pencils were 12 for $1. T or T is eve of Oct 31 by us.

Need to come up with a menu for tomorrow nights gouling carving gtg at our house?

Arm still a bit tender where the flu shot went in. But hope it gets me flu-less this season. Do you all get a flu shot or no?

Hope dd18 meds are working, Lisa!

Who's your DM, Sam? If it's Maggie, say hello from me, okay? She was on the writing team with me, and I so respected her thoughts.

Dd18 is doing better ... the meds are kickin' in. We just got home from McD's, where we'd taken Anabelle to play while her mama was working.

Mary, that's a great idea for Halloween! I'll be working this year, which makes me a little sad. I love goofing off with the kiddos. I should get home about midway through it all, which means I need to drive SUPER-CAREFULLY. Let me think about the menu a little ... I'm pretty creative. I made a cool Halloween meal for Dd22's volleyball team one year, and maybe I can find photos to remember what I made. I do remember making jello cups that looked like candy corn, and deviled eggs that looked like eyeballs.

•Aw Dave I still have my "new" 1996 Subaru legacy outback going strong.
•Mary I was surprised my flu shot never hurt at all even though it was high dosage.
•Lisa so glad meds are doing the trick for DD18
•We have few to none local kids for Halloween in our neighborhood so will probably play scrooge in the dark again.
•Yea Sam it's sad when you have to buy the dentist a new hot tub for every crown.
    Stay warm and cozy all!

Mary our house was built in 95. We bought it in 2002 but it was pretty dated then. It was built by two old lady sisters who then moved to the nursing home.

Think mint green everywhere including toilet, tub and sink in master, all carpet and most walls unless they we're floral or damask wallpaper. We made a million cosmetic upgrades and build a kick *kitten* basement.
