    Goal weight 130-139 lb

    Age: 35
    4th and 5th children

    So... calorie counting seems to legit made me hungrier. I might need to go with the Intuitive+nap trapped method lol.

    @karen_thinmint is baby having signs of allergies? That's so hard. My babies seem to be OK now. One had/has GERD but my Dr suggested cutting hit feeds off a short over night when he is flat and that simple trick has helped so much.

    @VeryKatie the dairy elimination has helped with her gas and surprisingly cleared her baby acne. But her heartburn has gotten worse, all the tricks haven't worked so she is starting something from the dr to ease her pain and stop the spitups/throwups. But she's still kept putting on weight - so I'm grateful for that.

    I've been having a rough week of life. I rear ended someone (who happens to live 3 doors down so i cant even make the clean break of embarrassment) and my insurance is trying to get out of covering all of our carseats that need replacing (so I'll be out $2000 if they dont). Everyone has pink eye. All our baby swings broke. Thank goodness my parents were able to come over for a few days! Oh and I have a clogged duct again that didn't clear all night even nursing twins on it.

    My dairy/soy free is ongoing and very boring and annoying. But it was slipped in my food and she reacted, so confirmed it is worth it.

    I've plateaued around 167 so I've stopped checking my weight as much. But I wanted to see if meal planning helps my rut (both in weight and diet boredum)

    Yeah it was not good. Insurance denied the carseats so I had to replace 4 brand new seats :(

    My own eye has got something going on and I got some mild mastitis so onto antibiotics for me. I'm hoping it fixes my eye issue but the Dr said if the heat compress didn't work and the antibiotics don't work it might be a cyst that needs to be surgically removed urg. It doesn't look thaaaaat bad, maybe I'll just live with it lol.

    I changed my goal and am doing a diet revamp. And adding exercise. Just got diagnosed with mildly high cholesterol at the young age of 35 (10 years too early at least, got my dr to check since I eat the worst and exercise the least of all my siblings and my mom let slip they all have high cholesterol too so something genetic going on probably but also i have not taken good care of myself in a long time).

    Now I'm trying to figure out the low saturated fat, higher Fibre diet and struggling to find appropriate but easy and happy snacks - all without going too overboard and getting stressed. Goodie gum drops for me. But my husband and I are also very "omg we have 5 kids, can't do this alone" so he's also on board with me revamping the whole family's food and taking turns exercising every other day. He's convinced he probably has some issue coming for him too if he doesn't change things up. So luckily I've got lots of support.

    @AshesSquared yay another MFPer in the group! I have approximately the same weight goal as you, I hope we can encourage each other on!

    @karen_thinmint oh no! How did the soy get slipped in? I hate when people arent careful. My nephews are allergic to peanuts and other nuts and my in-laws keep bringing nut items to family gatherings and I am infuriated for my BIL and SIL. And yet they're more careful about my daughter's oat allergy which is FPIES, not anaphylaxis. Make it make sense. Was the slip up for you intentional or unintentional? I know soy can be a real bother with hidden sources like "vegetable oil".

    So right now I'm struggling to make sure I eat enough to not cause supply issues while also somehow meeting protein, healthy fat and fibre goals while not exceeding saturated fat goals. It's really hard and it's starting to stress me out :(. I hope I get used to it soon. Or at least that my babies start sleeping better soon so I have more mental energy to deal with this. Bonus though, I told my picky kids I was over the pickiness and I don't want this for them when they're 35 and they're actually being more reasonable about trying things.

    I'm considering switching my metrics here to measuring from my pre-pregnsncy weights. Feels a bit silly to still be including all the babies and extra fluids and such. Or maybe I'll track from my 1w PP weight... which is basically the same I guess. So pre-pregnancy weight reference probably makes more sense. I'll do that when I measure again Friday. This week's weight was likely artificially low since I didn't feel well the day before.

    Re-evaluated goal weight. My face and neck are still chubby, not a fan. All the weight is coming off my butt. It'll be concave soon. I did read once that's where Breastfeeding weight is stored and I 100% believe it now. It's so so so flat lol.

    Weight is slowly creeping back on. I'm back to work and think it might be affecting things. But I need to get back to exercise, I've lost so much strength it's really bad, but lost in where to start as I feel like I'm at square one.

    @karen_thinmint yay you're back. I'm having the same issue and I've gone off the deep end with eating terribly knowing I've got cholesterol issues.

    I want to at least start going for walks but I never energetic enough for even that. I'd like to do some weight lifting but I need to clean th garage first which I don't have time or energy to do either. I wish we had a front yard fence so I could have my kids out with me and focus better on my task.

    I'm embarrassed about my back slide but I want to be honest and accountable. I went back to work at 18 weeks post partum and well as you can see I'm not handling it well. My period came back (with the other 2 it took nearly a year) and I'm stress eating - very obviously. I'm getting my hormones checked again soon too, but I doubt that's a driver.

    Yes ! I can definitely learn from your consistency! Oof, disappeared for 3 months 🤦‍♀️

    I've been ping-ponging between 148.5- 152 lbs, so at least I've been maintaining and not gaining.

    I did a stability ball workout this morning 🌄

    @AshesSquared

    You mean my consistently eating horrendously? The only reason I haven't gained a ton of weight is because I'm nursing twins. If it was one baby it would not be looking so good lol. I haven't lost anything since I last posted. And I can barely bring myself to cook well or exercise at all either. My poor family. One of my twins has been waking up every hour and then the other still wakes 4x a night too. I might be dying. Not sure yet. No idea how to fix the sleep issues.

    I did do some hip bridges last night while I couldn't fall asleep so maybe I'll at least try to keep that up. They should be good for my core and butt so at least there's that.

    @karen_thinmint
    I totally understand that. Going back at 18 weeks sound so impossible. I wouldn't deal well at all. I've been where you are as well with weight fluctuations afte both my 2nd and 3rd. I feel like things only dropped off easily after my first and not since then. Also really missing the original (no ad) newsfeed. MFP has gone downhill for accessing support from friends. No newsfeed. And notifications don't come through either. It's annoying.

    It's 105° in California, too hot to exercise but not too hot for sweet iced coffees and treats.

    @VeryKatie sleep-deprivation is literal torture. You have been maintaining (even if it's only because twins take a lot of milk). I saw your weight (my goal weight) and missed that your goal is to be more toned, so I thought you hit goal but was working toward long-term maintenance.

    @karen_thinmint you're spread really thin, don't be too hard on yourself. Hopefully, the stress lightens up

    @AshesSquared I've gone off the deep end. I'm still holding extra fat around my belly and face so I'll probably keep trying to lose fat. Now that 2 kids are in school I might have time to work out but energy (sleep) is still lacking so we will see about toning up. My abs are still recovering from the twin pregnancy too so i need to take it slow. We are hopefully cleaning out the garage today/tomorrow but it's a recurring issue. Darn boxes covering my workout equipement. I've discovered a mini nutrition hack though. Making massive salads without lettuce (so that it keeps) and eating it every meal for 3 days till it's gone lol. Then make a different one and eat that for 3 days. We are just trying to go back to basics. Focus on that veggie salad and slap a meat and a grain/starch with it. No more over thinking recipes if we just need to get fed. Thankfully one twin has decided sleep is great and now only wakes 1-2 times a night. Hopefully my girl will decide the same soon... though her issues seem to stem from farting waking her up lol. It's still better only getting woken by effectly one baby since that one feed time tends to over lap.

    How are you doing with things?

    I keep not being able to decide on my goal weight. And calorie counting is feeling so tedious, I keep avoiding doing so. It's time I exercise but I don't have the energy. It's clearly not going to happen unless the babies start sleeping through the night.
