I’ve been flying around the USA. Eating while traveling is challenging. Tracking has been the tool that has given me the feedback to either stop intake or choose small portions.
The good news is that if Snoopy was tracking, those cookies would have lasted all week.

Tired today. Got walk in anyway (Thank you UAC for keeping me moving). Too easy to get complacent and just blow it off, but sometimes the extra little push helps.
Wife and daughter are slowly cleaning up the house in time for the family to be over for Christmas. Looks a little like a bomb has hit it at the moment, but I can see where progress is being made.
Somehow, last nights post was eaten by the system, so re-posting
@RangerRickL. It's not the tracking that stops you eating the weeks portion (it may slow you down) it's the reporting it to others.
The reporting (being publicly accountable) is what got me out the door yesterday to do what is right.

Exercise? Yes. Was going to use vacuuming and cleaning house for my activity today...but others inspired me to do more. Added Leslie Sansone 45 minute 3 mile power walk. Now I'm overly warm!

Exercise: over 70 minutes of walking and 10 mins lower body exercises.
Calories under: Yes, but choices were less than healthy as I had the last of my Group Xmas celebrations today. The next week should be plain sailing.

A quiet but good day. All tracked and within plan. Did a rather fierce strength and interval workout and some foot yoga. That was a new one on me but felt great!4

I’m very happy with how this month has gone so far. This morning I saw a wonderful number on the scale that I’ve been hoping to see for a long time. I’m determined to keep it up to the end of the month, and I’ve been thinking about how to track on my big feast days of the 25th-27th. Today I learned that my in-laws are coming again at the end of the month, and I was very happy about that until I remembered how I threw in the towel during their visit in November. I guess I’ll try to log while enjoying their visit at the same time... it might be tough... maybe weird too... I don’t know... sigh.5 -

Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes - slept late and ate light after Sunday's extra-heavy dinner.
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes - and if I had done any more exercise, the MFP food log would have been mad at me for a too-low net food intake number. Not a problem one hears so very often around here

I wasn’t very hungry, and usually I just eat anyway, but on this day, I listened to my body. I also tried some new exercises. Honestly, the fact that I’m rarely hungry concerns me because I’ve never been like this before...and if it suddenly reappeared...it’s scary.
I’m assuming it’s healthy foods & daily exercise?!
Today marks the lowest calories I have eaten in a day for a longgg time. Largest deficit l can remember.
I will see how it goes.
Rewarded with new low on the scale this AM.
