Good meeting with builder - our concerns affirmed.
Busy day ahead and last class for winter tonight (will try to make it a quick adventure for them).

Good Morning BBB.
Overwhelmed so I think it's time to ask for help from a few trusted local friends to get some of the remaining boxing done.
16 degrees here - could be worse - some people are without electricity and heat since Sunday.
In the midst of the chaos Jack got the nod for a Mike's Hard Lemonade shoot on Friday and he is up for a Macdonalds shoot next week - I wish he could drive himself.

Skip, I hope that you get this worked out with your builder. Not good that you go through all that you do to get a house of your dreams, then have to fight, work, sweat, bleed, cuss, smoke, fume, and drink to get it to your quality standards.

Also the snow took down a tree and it hit our fence and fall near the road - Tom will be doing cleanup with the chainsaw later today.
Well and septic testing today and we still need the survey updated so we are in the queue for that ASAP.

Its always something, Raine. I understand why folks want to move into condo communities where the grounds have maintenance crews. I would still prefer to live in the woods, though.

Packing up a life is hard work. Glad you are calling in reinforcements.
Ron is traveling with with this week to Iowa and south Dakota. Also trying to find an apartment that is the right amount of quaint and clean but also cheap with parking is a lot more difficult than I anticipated. Might just have to go with a generic complex.0 -

- Today is a little bit better than yesterday, so that is a good thing. DW is coming down with a cold and sore throat. It must be winter.
- Raine, allowing friends to help give you bonding time too. I wish I was close enough to be Jack's chauffer.
- Lou, you found my shirt!
- Lee, I jumped over to the dark side. If something needs to be done outside I let 'the guy' do it. My heart was warmed the other day as they were cutting the grass and vacuuming the leaves.

I think Jack will nail the display they are looking to create. Should be a fast shoot - the commute is nearly 2 hours each way but ...0 -

I let my guy do the fix it stuff and outside work too, no charge LOL.
I remember looking for an apt when we couldn't find a house to buy, yikes high monthly rents for what was available, and no one wanted month to month, all wanted a 1yr lease. That wasn't going to work for us. But all worked out in the end anyway!
Wish there was time to meet up one last time Raine, sounds like you are way too busy. My door is always open should you all ever come back this way, be it for pleasure, Jack's work, both, or whenever. That goes for all of you BBB'rs !
Question, does everyone in the mug exchange, drink coffee ? I don't want to gift a coffee type mug, if my mugee doesn't do coffee LOL !0 -
