Hi, folks.
I did a lot of walking yesterday because I was sent on several quests by Cecilia to keep me entertained. So, I found several salons and places that sell wrapping paper, but didn't have much time for my more typical exploration.
I did, however, bump into a Surly Santa who refused to let me take his picture.

Good Morning BBB.
Storms seem to have passed - cooler today and then warming trend through the Christmas week. We will take the Mini Moke to storage today on our way to Sarasota - I had to order a title so we will not be able to insure or register it until after the first of the year.
Getting our iPhone batteries replaced while they still have the cheap deal - we can keep our phones longer then - which is a new thing for me since I normally replace my for every year or two.
Jack's YETI food bowl arrived yesterday - he thinks he is too cool.
Tom's YETI cooler with wheels arrived yesterday - I hid it under the RV so I hope he doesn't get curious about what the big box is 😳
Sam - enjoy your YETI - and yes, DMIL will never know what it means! Great job Lee.
Lou - scary stuff that you are finding in Brazil.
Kelly - enjoy the family coffee meet up.

Coffee is brewing and I'm going to make some gf chex mix in the oven soon for tomorrow's forced family fun FFF, football game party here. Usually at this time of year in Wisconsin we are playoff ready lol. We will get the poker chips and cards out, game may be boring.
Lou, whats on your Brazilian family holiday menu, any weird stuff or traditions?
As a kid...My Italian side always did a big seven fishes dinner on the 24th, with about 50 relatives. Those were the days!

Late start! Spent a little extra time at SBUX! Bought three people in line coffee (anonymously) - got to listen as I got cream and sugar. "Tis the Season to pass on some cheer!
Walked neighbors 150# Choco Lab, Mason! He's a sweet boy!
Now that Government is shut down - perhaps I can pick up a few bucks moonlighting as a pooper picker upper!
Off to winery to pick up a few bottles of my favorite on sale....
Love me some Yeti! Ordered bike locks to secure them all down after DF's escapade this last week - geesh.
I'm not allowed within 100 yards of a car dealership and/or an Apple Store. Those are my weaknesses.

DMIL gone for week, sister in law already complaining about her.
Love calmness of house
Ordered DGD's shoes on 12th of December from Macy's with assurance that ordered by 17th would arrive before Christmas. Checked yesterday, status shows delivery 27th; shoes still sitting in Canada. UPS received the 13th.
Headed out trying to fine little girls size 3 black dress shoes, she was very specific.

- If I was with Lou I would be looking for a Brazilian Steakhouse. They know meat in Brazil.
- Christmas is different in Fl. Lights on palm trees, shorts, flip-flops and no snow plows.
- So Skip, are you retired or unemployed? I kinda like a shutdown. Those elected fools can't do anymore harm.
- Talked to the doctors office yesterday and got an inhaler to fight the coughing. Now I think I have a good old fashioned cold. It's going to get better in 2019.
- Today is DW and my 45th wedding anniversary. I think the celebration will have to wait.

Found some shoes for DGD, I know why I've always hated going to a store a few days before Christmas. Did enjoy watching folks, some were grabbing anything, overheard one guy say it's going to be returned anyway so why worry, person with him (assume father) told him to at least get close to right size. Checkout line down side and half way to back of store. Other than grandchild I'll have said to heck with it and left.
Lou, your Santa looks as he would love a beer.
Skip, look at shutdown as a paid extra days off; now if they would dock congress pay, bet there would never be a shutdown.

Nice day with family. We just finished up prime rib dinner with immediate family amdu grandparents. We do extremely low key gift exchange with just a few gifts for the kids. Mostly a day of games and an extremely difficult puzzle.0 -
Favorite gift was matching robes. They have been wearing them on and off all day.0
