Holistic health check in and results: Aug 5-11

Hello!

On Tuesday I will make a chart of the results you all post this week, highlighting both the weekly winner (woo!) and the current cumulative winner (woo woo! weight loss is long term, y'all) I will post the charts in this forum.

Remember to post on Monday so that I have your data to compete for the coveted weekly winner award. ;)

    Took my friend to the airport (god I love her, and god I was glad to take her to the airport), watched a movie on TV ALL night long, made birthday cards for my faculty, took off work early, cut and color, read aloud with the Luv, made a ironic binder for a colleague

    Self-care includes suit shopping with my mom for my interview tomorrow (eeeek) and I'm officially down one pant size! There were also lots of skype calls, some house cleaning, and general relaxing. Despite the weight gain, it was a good week. In my defense, Sundays are always a high calorie day because I'm basically awake from 1am to 10pm. Can't wait to get away from that.

    Self care: reading, facial, early anniversary dinner out, shopping with my mother, weekend guests (bar-b-q dinner, home town tour on Saturday), finished off the weekend with a Nicholas Sparks novel.

    Self Care-visited with my cousin, sat outside in the sunshine!, painted my toenails;), went to the farmer's market,watched a movie and didn't fall asleep,had lunch with a friend on her birthday, talked on the phone to an old friend who moved away.

    Maintained weight

    Self-care included getting hair done, reading, pool, picking up golf clubs for the first time in 3 years, talking to friends

    Ah, I am falling off the wagon! I need more intentionality and discipline. This shall be my motivation for the coming week. These past two weeks have been tough in regard to dissertation work, eating fruits and veggies, drinking enough water, and keeping up with marathon training. (I skipped my LONG run this week! No, no, no!) I hope this time next week I will report back that I got back on track.

    Hi All.. Sending cyber-hugs to all participants throughout the world today because the sun is shining, and the wattle is in full bloom. :)

    Self care: reading/knitting/visiting/ walking with friend/lunch with friend/ refusing an extra shift/mowing/gardening/threw out old pair of runners that were hurting feet. lol

    Another week not doing so well. I took the last few days and just have tried to reset my focus. I think I'm back on it mentally. Now to just get back on it physically and keep my willpower going, and I'll be back on a roll!

    Yikes! I have been under the weather and lost track of time! So sorry about the delay!!

    As a postscript: I realized that when I delete the images from photobucket they are deleted here too (I delete the old ones every week, so all of the old posts here are sans charts). I tried this out before, but for some reason they stayed. All this to say that I am sorry for deleting the last reports....I will stop doing so in the future. Live and learn!
