Good Morning BBB.
Christmas was quiet. Beautiful weather so we were outside most of the day including working out, organizing and cleaning the RV, getting stuff ready for Tom's work trip up north, and a gathering at a friend's house. Tom will be gone until mid-January - three big jobs up north.
I'm invited to go boating today - I was thinking that I should just jump into work but instead I think I'll take time to enjoy the weather and the gulf.
Great pics yesterday.
Lisa - thanks for the poem.
Dave and Dennis - feeling better?
Do good out there everyone.0 -
I loved everyone's pictures yesterday! Skip, you must have the most eclectic closet EVER!
Raine, I think boating sounds like a beautiful idea! I'm sure you'll find plenty of opportunity to work, but this chance might not come as often. Is it with new friends, or ones you knew already? I could see you becoming very popular very quickly ... you're so outgoing and fun!
I saw a little fb thingie that reminded me of Jack, too. Here it is:

So now that the big holiday is over, we have our anniversary on Friday and Anabelle's 6th b-day on Saturday. Her party was going to be at a roller rink, but it got switched to our house.
Btw, her deadbeat dad had her on Christmas morning and "forgot" to do Santa. She woke up all excited, then disappointed, and asked him why Santa didn't come. Dd27's new bf took his name off the gifts he'd gotten for her so that she could have Santa gifts later, when she got back here. Ugh. How does the dad of a 5 year old FORGET Santa???? Selfish prick. (did I say that out loud?)0 -
Good morning.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. I'm impressed that it allowed you to post 'prick', Lisa. Even though it sounds appropriate to me.
As you can probably imagine, this small town more or less shuts itself down for Christmas. So, no movie and Chinese food. Instead, you're forced to provide your own fun. I chose to drive my OCD brother-in-law nuts.
In preparation for Santa, one must strip and baptize all dollies and let them all air dry in the hammock. Woe be unto any adult type person who dares disturb the pile of naked barbies lest they suffer a meltdown of epic proportions. Don't ask me how I know this.
Eventually, Santa - who is DEFINITELY NOT your other brother-in-law in an ill-fitting beard - meets the children and leaves gifts. But, like children everywhere, my great niece was more entertained by the box than the bike that was in it.
Eventually, you have to get off your butt and go for a walk where you discover a new bridge to nowhere that was previously unknown to you.
Today, there's shampoo, coffee and shoes to buy, apparently. And some packing that needs to be done after buying 8 kilos of candy to take back.

Morning~
Four hours of work to "officially notify" employees that they are furloughed.
Speaking of selfish pricks!
I vote for boating.

Oh. Almost forgot the Christmas Miracle!
My SIL - who if her eyes are open, then so is her mouth - has talked herself hoarse!1 -
Love the Barbie story Lou - it's the same with troll dolls FYI. You know how to get the OCD over the edge. Nicely played.
Lisa - these are people that we know from up north and their friends and relatives.
Love the Grinch FB video. True dat.0 -
Good morning
Lou😂
Lisa that guy is a jerk0 -
Good morning BBB friends.
Had a wonderful afternoon/evening with DS, DDIL and DGKs, yesterday. Like George Bailey, I feel like the richest guy in our small city.1 -
Love me some Lou. Always good for a laugh
Left dad's this morning a little after 7. It is about 2 hours to the store I'm working at today. We will likely stay all night and head home tomorrow. It might snow so we might just decide to head home early. It's Misty now but 34 so not slick.
We had a nice holiday. It was fun with the kids all there but also nice to just have adults for a day too. And much much quieter.0 -

Good morning BBB Friends.
- "Life with Lou" was good today.
- Fortunately Anabelle is blessed with great maternal grandparents.
- I vote for boating too Raine. Work will wait. If your not careful, good times are missed.
- Steph, I subscribe to the theory that kids are good in small doses.
- Sounds like a great evening Dave. I hope you are feeling better. I am, but I'm afraid the DW now has what I was suffering with over the weekend.
- Enjoy you DMIL free holiday Sam.
