Good Morning BBB.
Got cool last night so Jack joined me in bed. He sleeps on the floor when the night temps are over 65. Planned to join friends at a car show in Englewood last evening but they called to say that it was crazy busy and they were not staying so I turned around and ran an errand before then returned home. Today includes working and a power walk with Jack before the Bears game.
LEDs have come a long way - the better brands are "warmer" lighting.
Lee - enjoy the meeting at Billy's restaurant. That post with "need bail money" was a keeper.
Kelly - good that you went shopping and have a plan. You got this!
Sam - I just read your hearing aid story - oh my!
Dave - yes, Florida is flat but filled with other natural resources to explore. I agree that brand matters with LEDs and many things.
Mary - did you have fun at the baby gender reveal party - I never heard of having a party for that announcement but any excuse for a party I guess.
Steph - how is it going with packing your FIL

Good morning BBB friends.
I was last in Florida in 1980. I passed through the Miami airport on my way to Key West Naval Station, en route to an exercise in Puerto Rico. My first impression of Florida was that the airport smelled of mildew. Key West was interesting, though. I'm sure many things have changed in the last 38 years.
Still suffering congestion and coughing. This has been my life, mid-winter, the last couple years. I was tested for asthma in December, but changed my primary care doctor and the first available appointment with the new one was at the end of this month. Sometimes I think I should just abandon military health care and seek a doctor in the civilian community. Hard, around here, to find doctors who will accept new patients who are on Medicare, though.0 -

Great day at brewery with some friends (former co-workers from Fire Department days). The one's wife exclaims, "....OH! You're the one who wrote him up! He hates you!" - uhm....awkward! 20 years ago - forgot all that nonsense. Day ended cordially as do most over a few IPAs.... Jay was a smart firefighter - just didn't know when to STFU and let those in charge - be in charge. c'este le vie.
Today is cold - DW made a pot of Chile to so I can watch the Bears / Eagles.

Dennis, Jason Kanz is a former WWer and was on the old GoaD board when it was mostly dudes that were serious about losing weight circa 2007-2010...I'm pretty sure Lisa remembers him. He coined the phrase "make the better choice". So whenever I use it, I try to give him credit.

Sunday school and church this morning.
65 degrees now and sunny, hope to get car washed this afternoon.
We come in DMIL is in freezer trying to get ice cream out of carton to put in cone she had brought up from downstairs, she does not buy ice cream because she does not eat it; but she does buy ice cream cones to put ice cream in. Don't what she is going to do once what we have is gone; me and DW stopped eating couple months ago.
Many doctors through out U.S. will not accept Medicare, they want money up front; will file forms for you then refund monies to one when funded; DMIL has to do this. Glad I have insurance through County where I retired from, they pay all co-pays and deductibles, we do have to pay a co-pay for prescriptions but once total drug cost hits 3,500 we pay nothing we have a couple of hundred out of pocket.
