    Good Morning BBB.
    Cold front coming through the area so into the 40s at night and 70s during the day 😆
    Our "compound" is set up - we even brought over the smoker and the bicycles from the storage unit.
    Taking some time later this morning to tour around with friends that recently bought a home in the area to learn what they learned. The house hunting begins!!!
    Steph - I hope the cleaning is going well.
    Bill - snowball fights are a blast. Thanks for being a good neighbor - I'm sure all appreciated it.
    Lee - how did the pheasant soup turn out?
    Mary - how was the split pea soup?
    Sam - Im sure DW is not amused by her mom.
    Do good out there everyone.

    Pheasant noodle soup and pheasant chili both turned out well.

    Cold but sunny this am. Wish I could take morning off and play.

    Morning BBB

    It must have snowed overnight as I can hear the plow scraping the pavement. Or maybe just making cleaning up after the snow Saturday.

    Ron and his dad just left Scott AFB and are hoping to make it to just south of Atlanta today. I am able to track them on google maps.

    Sister & her husband husband are leaving for a cruise today and dad is watching her 4 kids. Oldest texted last night that grandpa is sick and told her "your in charge if I go down". She is only 16 so a little freaked out. I may drive out there tonight if sister doesn't find other backup.

    It's cold, for Tumwater, this morning: 29 degrees and foggy. Should be sunny, later.

    Neither DW nor I slept worth a darn last night. Won't get much done, today, I suspect.

    Pheasant soup sounds good, Lee. I'm looking at making a big pot of zero point soup I can customize for different meals. I add beans, chicken , whatever is at hand. I am getting into loss mode, I hope.

    The split pea soup turned out great! Packaged some up for the freezer and a couple lunches.

    Good idea Dave, Some zero point soup in the making sounds like a great idea for this next weekend.

    Might be a good idea to make a house call, Steph, any idea whats got Grampa not feeling well?

    So great this 13yo girl from Barron Wisc that got abducted and witnessed her parents get shot, has gotten free. Sad to think about what this psycho did to her for the 80+ days he had her. Its never too soon to have the dialog with kids in my opinion, esp with todays social media, secret apps, etc. etc. Glad she made a run for it!

    No snow here, nope, not even a trace old stuff. Mid 20's and gloomy/cloudy today

    Morning~

    Up early to jump on snowblower duties. We got another 3" overnight - but it was light and the snowblower went through it like hot knife through butter. Did half the neighborhood again but in about half the time. Sidewalks for the entire street are done too.

    Made it to SBUX and now going to dive into school work.

    Lee - the pheasant soup sounds amazing!
    Tom/Raine - enjoy the searching today! Exciting. I know deep down, you both are missing tractor time; shoveling; subpar temps...... :smile:

    • Foggy here this morning but it is sunny and cool now.
    • Mary, so glad Jayme made it out safely. She's had a terrible few months.
    • Raine, it's nice to be able to look for a house casually and not be in a rush. Especially when you are new to an area. Good luck.
    • I had breakfast with the ROMEOs and DW wants to go out for lunch. I could use some of that zero point soup Dave is making. Although split pea and pheasant noodle sound good too.
    • Let's hope the *kitten* heads in DC start talking to each other.

    Good Afternoon,
    Turned down call from school yesterday only to be call at 6 this morning begging me to come in.
    DMIL acting very spacey this afternoon,
    DW got good report from diabetic doctor does not have to return till April; she gets stitches out Thursday.
    So far no call for tomorrow.
