In the weekly Warrior Mini-Goal Challenge focus on your "short term goals"

Focusing on one week at a time, when the big picture seems too overwhelming. Small changes can bring on big results!!

Choose one or more things you want to work on for just this week. Don't set it too high or unreachable!!

Please, make sure your week works for you. Sun to Sat or Mon to Sun, whatever is YOUR week!

You can reach your main goal if you break it into small actionable steps. It could be as easy as 1-2-3!

1) Choose something you know you can do easily.

2) Add more difficult tasks to your plan.

3) These small steps will get you started, motivated & help build routine for long term success!!

Anyone interested in joining us for another week, or a first week, or a get back on track week?

Check in often, have a great week and do the best you can! :)

Happy Monday everyone! Isn't it great to have a new week filled with possibilities and opportunities?

I did get a blog post written yesterday, and I did 1.5 miles in 21 minutes outside. I'm a lot slower than I am on the treadmill; that's something I want to work on. But I also want to work on distance. I think once I get up to three miles I'll add in some interval work if I can figure out how to do that - maybe I can set up a playlist to use that mixes 'slow' songs and 'faster' songs. We'll see! That's still a ways off.

Today we have meet-the-teacher night at school, which means I am required to be there from 5:00 - 8:30 or so. With a 40-minute drive, there's not much point in going home at 4:00 and turning around and driving back, so I'm planning to stay through. While I enjoy saying hello to parents, it does kind of get under my skin that we have these sorts of things and there is zero compensation for them. I guess I can look at it as the flip side to snow days!

Of course, I also did school work on the snow day, soooo... ;)

Anyway, goals for this week are being modified based on how things went last week and stuff that has GOT to be done!

    1. Finish essay conferences with small class.
    2. Finish essay conferences with large class.
    3. Write a blog post.
    4. Zumba Tue/Thu/Sat; weights Wed/Sat. Running or weights Monday, depending on what's available at school.
    5. Sunday treadmill (or outside) running: 2 miles w/o break, aim for 25 minutes. (That should be ~5 m/h?)
    6. Complete and submit all coursework at least a day before due.
    7. ONE DAY where everything gets weighed and logged accurately.

Checking in - did NOT get my conferences done, but I'm going to give myself a pass on that one; we were off Tuesday for icy roads on the mountain, and I'm on track to finish the conferences Monday. So it should all work out.

I'm not logging. And I'm really not even sure why. Like I fixed a bowl of cottage cheese and strawberries just now. The scale was RIGHT THERE. All I had to do was weigh stuff. And I didn't. What's wrong with me?! Jeez.

On track for exercise. I ran Monday. Need to complete my coursework today to get #6. And I still have tomorrow for logging. (Ha ha.)

Well, 6 is out. Yesterday everything took forever. I was just tired all day and moving slow. But I'll be able to finish up today without TOO much difficulty. I wish I had put my lesson plans on there - spending uncompensated time doing work for my job REALLY gets under my skin. :P But I can add that to next week!

I've started logging today. I'm going to try REALLY REALLY HARD to take care of that last goal!

I know this past week has been a struggle but hopefully you were able to finish your tasks. Good that you are starting to log. I need to do that also.

Molly- hope your week went okay and you can check in when you get a chance.

I did not log or get in any activity. I did get 6,000 steps 3 days. I will keep the goals the same next week.
