Can't add Fitbit

Hello, I have looked through the FQA and I have emailed the support people but I wonder if it's okay to reach out to others in the Fitbit group... I had an old MFP account to which I attached my Fitbit for tracking, that was about 4 years ago. I would like to attach my Fitbit to this new account but I am not allowed to because the Fitbit still shows that it is attached to the old account (the password and user names for which I no longer recall). Is there any way to unattach the Fitbit from that account and attach it to this one?

    Not that you can accomplish - the support ticket is the only method - they have to disconnect the old account.

    Unless you can get into it again and go through disconnect process yourself.

    Thanks. I did send an email to them last night, i guess it sometimes takes a couple of days to get a response?
